For many species the possession of territory is the ultimate goal. With good territory comes plentiful food, access to shelter, attraction to mates and safety to raise offspring - all tremendous strategic advantages in the wild. For a territorial species, their territory is their kingdom. Those that want it will stop at nothing to get it, and those that have it will fight fiercely to defend it.
In the wild every creature has its own game plan. Attack and defence, communication and mating, hunting and claiming territory - for animals to succeed in the turmoil of nature they need strategy. i dont like how the story is just narrated with random clips thrown in. None of the lions even match up the same in the clips, there are 3-4 different lions that go into a clip to represent one lion in a story... not a fan

Wow. While I don't usually criticize shows like this as I know well the patience and hard work it can take, I do feel the elephant seal segment here at the end was horrifically wasted. These giants fight until they both look like bloody, rare steak.

You really have to pay attention to continuity. The Lions interaction around 12 mins mark was risible.
Different Lions (one was White so stood out rather). Different Vegetation. Different Terrain. Different fights. Daft.
yeah thats what made me come down to the comments i was so confused. wanted to make sure i wasn't the only one lol
I would have wanted to know a lot more about them Lions what happened to them did he kill the Cubs or what
I saw red footage of a huge silverback gorilla being set upon by 6 or 7 huge male chimps. Although it quickly looked like the gorilla was losing, the gorilla literally killed one the chimps by biting into it's throat killing it almost instantly. Than 2 other chimps seemed to back off while the gorilla was on top of another chimp killing it, than one the other chimps jumped on the gorilla screeching than the gorilla swung the chimp like a rag doll it landed on the ground. The gorilla has a nasty bite wound to the back the leg bt otherwise not seriously hurt. 4 the chimps died of their injuries and another injured chimp was found hours later by trackers dead covered in flies. Chimps are strong yes bt a gorilla is 4 times as strong as a chimp, so imagine 6 or 7 ppl attacking you and your 4 times as strong as them. It must be like being attacked by 6 or 7 ten year old kids lol. If I find the link il come back and post it 😉
