The Lion Queen: Manyari queen of her pride

  • She’s a hunter, killer, sister, but above all a selfless mother. Soon after you meet Manyari, queen of her pride, she does something both unusual and bold. She leaves the sanctuary of her family with her young cubs and takes them on a dangerous odyssey. She makes a bid to escape because two young bloods are sniffing around and, if they take over the pride, they will kill her cubs. Out in the wilderness, away from the protection of the pride male and without her sister to help her hunt, Manyari is forced to take huge risks. When her cubs are starving they wander back dangerously close to the young princes; as Manyari fights for her cubs’ very survival, her every move is shadowed by the marauding nomads. They know she’s out there and they want her back. Witness the terrifying hazards this mother takes to give her cubs a few more precious months of life.

Wow 🤩!!! Menyari truly is QUEEN, in every sense of the word. She truly risked everything for her cubs. Not many lionesses would do everything and risk so much just for their cubs. The true meaning of the word, QUEEN 👑!!

Truly the queen 👑 the sister can't be slept on too. Manyari couldn't have been luckier after getting injured having the sister that close with a kill she shared at that. Cats truly do have nine lives. She had 8 cubs plus herself making 9 and she kept all of them alive

First my compliments to the narrator. Your gentle voice took us thru the lives of these lions… good & bad.
Manyari definitely is a Queen… good mother, teacher & thinks only of her family with struggles galore. Like many human moms… protect those kids💖👵🏻👩‍🌾❣️

Animals’ healing ability is truly amazing! Her skin is torn open like a book, blood is flowing out of her body, but she was able to keep moving. She lays in the grass full of bugs, she licks her wound with her tongue, but despite all this bacteria, her deadly wound was able to heal! They are amazing compared to humans!

I watch all Lion videos I can find, But this video I saved and have watched over and over and over, I can't comprehend the work it takes to put these magnificent videos together. Once again, thank you so much. If I had watched this video 45 years ago. I would have had a daughter named Manyari. She is a lioness above all Lionesses. All sisters can take a lesson away from this video too. A Loyal and true sister.

Or when they get injured, I want to call a veterinarian to come sew up the wound, or give them medicine when they are sick. Camera men/women literally have to let animals die bc it goes against the rules of nature to help the animals. They can do research, and only help sometimes. But there are specific guidelines.

I know!! They need fly pickers living on them, like the hippos and some of the cattle who have 'ox peckers', a bird that eats any bugs off their furry bodies.
Lions have a lot of ticks too. They suck their blood. Sometimes they get very sick from so many insects. I feel very very bad.

These comments can only come from ignorant people dwelling in the comfort of western cities😂😂😂😂! While we are “shocked” and “feeling bad” about the lions in the wilderness, let’s add to the list of discomforts:
      1. My God, how can they tolerate sleeping on the hot, dusty ground?!
      2. How on earth can they walk miles under the fierce heat without sun hats and sunscreen?!
      3. Sweet Jesus! How can they bear to eat their meat raw without seasonings?!
      4. Goodness gracious! How could they drink that dirty, non-sanitized water?
      5. Snakes alive! How can they go on such arduous hunting trips without taking an energy replenishing drink like Gatorade?
Do you get my drift? 🙄 🙄 🙄

The Patrolling alone is a major reason many male kings lose their brothers or if out alone a nomad that they bonded and joined up with , The lionesses could of helped him, Sure lions sleep a lot in the day but their opportunist so if prey is near they bolt into hunting mode, That’s sad as the males mostly do help hunt when needed and patrolling put their lives on the line , Rarely fair , I know it’s nature , But he could of used some back up , He’s more experienced, No Sub adult males to help ? I missed the beginning a bit , I have seen some herd following nomads that their eyes have a been through hell and are some vicious boys , That look with two on the river you did a vid on where I believe chief left and he was shot near herdsman’s cattle, And his brother notch was a lover had to hang low but grew in character. A couple subadults lingered across the lowering river and as the herds arrived and the pride he and his brother led went off a ways to protect the young and two of the meanest nomads I ever saw showed up. Their facial expression and eyes were ones I never will forget, Some real been through hell and here we are males ran off the other two with a single look ! Mean, Notch got back with his group and for how long ? But a really good documentary! Good 👍 stuff ! Kevin

That's their job to patrol and protect the pride. 99% of the time the lioness do the hunting and the males eat 1st. I've seen females lure nomads away pretending to be in eutress. Plus he disappeared while they were hunting. They have cubs to defend and protect.

I don't understand why all of the lionesses and the big king don't get together and team up against those 2 young punk lions and just get rid of them for good. 6 lionesses and a king would be enough to do that. But they always let the lion go fight by himself against 2 or sometimes more. Of course he's going to get beat. Even though those 2 are barely grown there are 3 of them. Nature?

Thanks for blurring the dead cubs! It angers me! I do not understand why The remainder of the sisters do not leave! How can females collaborate with males that kill your children? Isn’t this whole thing about the children caring on? They are so protective of their cubs yet they let some strange males kill them!

    • @andint5482
      @andint5482 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

After the cubs are killed the male lions will kill the female lions if they do not submit to them. Before getting pregnant they make sure the male lions are here to stay and protect them. The females can have intercourse but not get pregnant either to trick the males, they’re can be more cubs hiding they need to escape, or there not sure these are the right partners.
