As a owner of i5 m60. It’s my cup of tea. Quite elegant and down to business. My commute goes on spanking all noise no power gas cars. Even M3 M4 M5 have been in my rear mirror. Only complaint is we need more electricfy America chargers. At least 1 every 2 miles. If it works I see myself on Ev again. Great review 👏🏻
I'm with you but it's a no go for me unfortunately. I flirted with it for quite some time but ultimately decided against it. Just put a deposit down for an Audi RS3. 5 series was my first nice car and I always wanted to go back but just can't seem to. It's the charging infrastructure mainly. Even the stuff we have doesn't work so well and is a bit of a rip off from what I've seen. I do agree with the video though. I like that it's understated and just looks like a normal car. He understands the thinking behind the 5 series and I am of the same mind. Electric is just a little too early still I think. I'll go with the RS3 for now and try again in the future. The Audi is also 3.6 sec to 60 and being a lot lighter will probably be a little more fun in the corners. And most importantly I can take it on a road trip without dread.
I just got an i5 M60. Wow. That’s all I can say. I’m not too bothered by the range. Most of my diving is in town and commuting to work. Level 2 charging will serve me well and I’ll just deal with the range for the occasions that I travel long distance.
I have the i5 m40 and love it. I had the telsa 3 since it was my very first. Best decision to get the i5. I have a charging unit in my garage. So every drive is 100% and ready to go. I agree with you and great review. Thanks
I currently drive a 530D and would love one of these, but the new price is a little too steep for me. Once they hit the second hand market in numbers, I'll be getting one.
Congrats on the RS3 . It’s a fast good looking car as well. The EV world saves a lot of $$ but waste lot of time as well. Love the experience hate the charging infrastructure. 🙏🏼
These Mercedes egg head EV's are indeed crazy looking. So crazy looking Mercedes is dropping the EQS line entirely next year for the option of battery power in an S-Class.

Gonna get my in Monday. Has an i4 now. Looking forward to it. Same colour as the video. Oxid Grey. Looking forward to it
Test drove this 6 weeks ago, it was a great ride. I wont mind buying it used in a few years.

No ventilation on the seats? Should absolutely be standard at this price point. Beautifully crafted car though.👌🏾

I am not sold on the looks (including new M5) and will keep my '21 M5 Comp; maybe the look will grow on me.
Is this Oxide ?
I own this car; love it; only complaint is poor range at real world around 180-190 miles in colder weather
Great review Ben. New to your channel. Totally agree BMW is #1 or #2 at EVs
I'LL TAKE ONE!!!!😀😀😀😀😀
The last gen was the best looking BMW ever made

I love it!

Mercedes just changed their EV strategy and took a page out of BMW's book and will make their EVs look the same as ICE vehicles.
All im gonna say is Audi e-tron GT RS 680ps bonkers
🤮 BMW and MB ruined the 5er and E-Class.
Here's hope Audi nails the A6.
Mercedes EQS is way better
Fake engine noises are cringe, range and 0-60 are worse than the model 3 which costs about half the price, and it looks more like a kia than a BMW
And yet nobody is buying the tesla and they have the worst resale value lol...
@@pete23234 BOOOM 👌🏻
