    Thank you Ben for being one of the few honest and objective people in media.

      OverLordthe 1st Even if he's centre-right and I'm centre-left, he's my favorite god damn political commentator. Hell I was raised by Muslims and he's Orthodox Jewish and he's STILL my favorite, yet I wish he would address identity politics more

    • @OverLordthe1st
      @OverLordthe1st 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      He actually address it alot, outside of Milo idk a bigger vocal critic. Just look at his college tour videos, he debunks every idiotic argument from the left. He a couple of other conservatives like crowder completely changed my views on poltics, this time two years ago I was BLM loving far leftist.

    • @jacobzu6655
      @jacobzu6655 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      A Mir I agree! Center left here also, maybe even split center, but I think he's pretty open about his bias and tries to stay as objective as possible. Dems and Reps have bad stems but I'm happy he addresses both

    • @Rikishade1
      @Rikishade1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      OverLordthe 1st He's by far not objective, he suscribes to Paul Johnson's false historic claims.

    • @johngardiner2294
      @johngardiner2294 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I like him but he's not objective. Everyone has biases and he admits that. He tries to work in facts as much as he can and not personal opinions but sometimes your biases will always bleed through

    "Why is it when democrats get power they immediately ram through bills that they love, that their base loves".
    It's funny, my parents are on the left and I grew up hearing the exact opposite. I remember after the first midterm elections under Obama where the Democrats lost seats my Dad complained that the Republicans always banded together when they were in power and pushed through all the things they wanted, but that the Democrats always bickered and compromised and didn't accomplish the things he really wanted them to.
    Do you guys think that maybe it's a corruption issue? That both parties are so bought they are incapable of actually representing the ideological position of their base?

Even though I agree with a lot of the things that you say if not all, the reason that I was impressed by you is because when you were doing speeches in colleges and answering questions, you were able to come up to the answers for really elaborate questions within a second and a half to two seconds and address the subject at hand Within 5 Seconds. I can tell that you read a lot.

    As much as I agree with Ben on basically everything, healthcare is the only thing we don't see eye to eye on. My wife was born with type 1 diabetes even though her parents didn't have it. I really appreciate it when insurance companies don't raise our premiums based on her condition that she had no choice in

    • @destinal_in_reality
      @destinal_in_reality 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Alex Vasilenko I'd really appreciate it if fire insurance companies paid me for the fire I had no choice in, even if we had no such agreement. The thing about insurance is you pay to insure against future events. Insurance doesn't work on past events, if it did it would be a subsidy.

And while we are at it, I don't think that I should have to pay for your defence, so we shpuld get rid of the police, I am able to hold my own in a firefight, can you?

    Under Obama, the stock market rose mainly due to loose fed policy and low interest rates. Unemployment fell due to people dropping out of the labour force, and employers hiring multiple part time workers instead of full time.
    Trump has not yet cut regulations and taxes, but the optimism towards them is encouraging growth.
    So far the US is going in the right direction, but yes it's too early to evaluate.

    I dont attribute the stock market success under obama to obama because after a large recession a good recovery period is to come. These tend to last about 7-8 years. If for the next 4 years we continue on with a stock market boom then it needs to be attributed to someone because it will be far longer than the average. This will mean we can attribute it to trump/the republican senate and house.

      He's like the eminem of political speech. Slow the fuck down, dude.
      I do like the very subjective approach he's taking toward Trump, though. Trump has done well, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows. It's only been a couple months, not everything positive happening in the economy and job market can be directly attributed to him.
      One example, he talks about how GM and Chrysler/FIAT are bringing jobs back to America, since his election. That claim is only half true. Let me explain..
      I work with a company that specializes in the design and programming of automation control systems. Automotive is 80% of our cliental, and probably 90% of our income.
      The jobs that Trump reference, like the automotive plant in Iowa, or the automotive plant in Michigan...those have been planned and booked for about 3 years now. Believe me, I would know. We've been designing both of those jobs for over a year now.
      We ALSO still have 3 jobs coming up planned for Ramos and Silao Mexico (two in Silao). These jobs have also been booked for around the same amount of time. Around half, or maybe over, of our GM jobs are in Mexico.
      Huge Trump supporter, here. I just thought I would point that out and give people a little insight on those Automotive Manufacturing jobs Trump has been talking about. These jobs take years of planning and booking before design ever happens. These jobs coming up are not anything recent or in any way related to Trump becoming president.

    13:45 oh come on! No it didn't take a year to roll out! How can YOU of all people not remember that.... we had a huge debate over a year on this, and then, at the end, they dropped a 20,000 page bill, and had less than 24 hours (I think it was 24, at the most 3 days, but I'm pretty sure it was 24 hours if I remember correctly) to vote on it? AND THEY VOTED ON IT! At the time, I didn't care what was in the bill, I believed the mere fact they voted on it was the height of irresponsibility on the entire Congresses part.
    I Love you ben, but you are simply wrong on so many things because you're too small scaled in your views and ignore the big picture. >_< This is why you were wrong about Trump winning. I knew he was going to win the election the moment he announced he was running. It's like Brexit, so stupidly obvious. (including if you look 'where' people voted in favor or against it) even in California, Trump won 2/3 of the districts! Don't worry though, the Democrats did away with the electoral concept a long time ago out here so..... popular vote= all our electoral votes. BEFORE they did that, Hillary would have only gotten 1/3 of ours. >_< Fuck California!

    I had an idea instead of identifying everyone by male and female....isn't it time to identify by DNA. I think it would be great for the sports world, the XX or XY 400m dash. The XX hockey team....then we can have mixed teams if the players choose. We can have leagues that people can join if they prescribe to it and don't have a problem if their daughter sees a penis. And people should have a choice if they want to be on a team with mixed genders and not be forced to. I just had this thought, admittedly I haven't followed it all the way through to completion. I would love to hear your thoughts. And I recently saw your interactions with the she-hulk that acted oh so lady-like and threatened you like a man. Calling you a boy to make you feel like less than a man than him. Which means deep down he still considers himself a man. And is a woman when it gets him attention. A woman would never handle a situation like that. He's missing the base instincts of a woman.

    when will Ben accept Trump. Sometimes he sounds like he would've rather had Hillary win. Relax Ben, he is no TRUE conservative but is a little better than Hillary.

      joev816 a *little*. And also, it's not who's the worse candidate, it's who's the better person with good policies

      A Mir problem is, where do we find a REAL conservative to run. Ben talks a good game, but bet he would never run himself. So people like me make lemonade out if lemons. While people like Ben sit criticizing and not running, though I agree with Ben about 95%, he needs to slowdown a little with Trump cause it could had been Hillary worse. (saw what I did there).

    Ben, could you show proof Trump said all this? You are hard to fact check, you talk so fast.

      A hell of a lot of Trump bashing, basically.
      This is from seeing portions of several videos, trying to get a bead on whose side they're on.

      That's because Trump doesn't appear to be Conservative. Republican, possibly. But not so much Conservative. He opposes his Democratic nemesis well enough. Big government movement and power usually isn't what conservatives enjoy.

      Recon.777 He's a conservative that doesn't have fanboy syndrome for trump. He takes facts over his or anyones feelings about any matter. He likes to be objective as possible, and that means disagreeing with what trump does in certain cases. He is pushing conservative values rather than populist trumpism.

      Recon.777 Donald Trump is hardly a conservative.
