@@naroon5455 zed didn't do the voice. the acts are both "comedy robot"-based, but aristotle is using glottal stops, whereas zed is just... speaking clearly. vocally aristotle's is way more impressive -- the impressiveness of zed's act is mostly in the movement.

A lot of the current senior staff members are probably flight risks as soon as the right project comes along for them, they can’t all be Peter Pan (Kenan)

They are finally using Aristotle well. Having him as a bit player in a skit wasn’t allowing him to embody his talents and it seemed to throw him off his game a bit. Glad he’s getting a chance to shine.

It's not altered, he's doing a "glottal stop" vocal technique. Look up the term if you're not familiar. I have a feeling this is one of the characters he created and practiced a lot (like "Angelo") before SNL.
@@apexerman1 It's difficult, but it can be done with a voice, no electronics. You can get a similar effect when you talk while breathing in, he's just gotten good at doing it while breathing out. You can hear a few times when it breaks a bit and blurs instead of stopping, were it auto tune, it would be perfectly consistent.
Aristotle was great! The audience should have given him a standing ovation after that performance. If they didn’t, it is because they are all from Staten Island, which sucks. This was the best episode of SNL this season so far.

Also, Mr. Zed doesn't do a robot voice - mainly robotic phyiscal mannerisms combined with a sort of mocking of stand up comedian stereotypical lines that a lot of the audience didn't get but that stand up comedians found hilarious.
I just recently heard Marc Maron's podcast with Hasan Minhaj and Hasan had talked about how him and Aristotle have been good friends and worked together for a long time. So, it's amazing to see Aristotle doing absolutely incredible on SNL. First time I saw him he was being a waiter in a sketch and I had to do a double take because of how damn handsome he was looking.

1:07 - 1:17 immediately shot into my top 10 favorite weekend update moments. The way his facial expression became extra stone cold together with the delivery was sort of horrifying but also very on point - and the crowd's mixed reactions of laughter and "oh god" realizations was perfect.
Corey Schmitz pretty much all of them were very well executed, new talent is great and old talent that stayed is still wonderful. whoever came up with the sketches out did themselves.

He did have a pilot on Comedy Central called "Goatface Comedy". Sadly, it didn't go anywhere, which explains why Aristotle is on SNL.
