I love my GTX100. I am 66 years old and at one time or another wanted every amp i have now in my Fender. I am also an electronics Engineer and I believe in mathematical modeling. In blindfold tests these amps fool tube snobs. The effects are modeled too. Tube screamer, klon they are all mathematically modeled and sound amazing. Fender did this one right. They modeled everything but tube circuit weight! I must say you have gotten the best metal tones I've heard. Their presets are all over the place. Like you said just make your own preset. Thanks for your sincere opinion of this often overlooked amp.
I LOVE modeling amps.but that one had not "my i want" tone.i ended up with a kemper, expensive, but it sounds better then the real amps it profiles D .imo D
We have similar backgrounds (EE) and have arrived at the same conclusion! Bought this amp 2 years ago now. Hoping they bring some additional effects in the next firmware release. But already more than I need to get the tones I want. Love being able to download new settings that others have already configured. Its light weight and I dont keep messing with plugging in effects or tripping over them etc. Dont gig anymore at this age, but this machine could do it. The "set list" feature would be awesome for that...next song is just one click away.
I purchased a GTX 50 along with the foot switch and cover 3 months ago. I loved my Fender Blues JR!!! I will never get rid of it. My reasons for the swap was 1. The GTX sounds great clean or high gain, 2. It’s very light and 3. I was no longer capable to effectively control my foot pedal due to my cerebral palsy mixed in with spinal damage. With my iPhone and the Fender Tone app I can now turn on or off my effects and change presets with the tip of my finger. Honestly, my GTX tone is just as great as the Blues JR gave me. These are the effects I use the most: Reverb, distortion and vibrato. Other effects: Delay and chorus . Sim amps that a pretty well use always : Twin, or Blues JR. This is all I need the rest is gravy…
I've got the Mustang II, the predecessor the the GTX, and they're great amps for the money. Being able to get nice tone at low volume is a massive help when you're learning. It's really confidence inspiring.
I'm using a Mustang II as well. However I haven't connected it a PC in years and only use 1 clean and 1 distortion setting. I really want a new amp but not sure if I should get a GTX, Katana, Catalyst or full tube combo.
The best feature of my GTX100 is the integrated looper. It is so good and usable, it is the main reason I like to play it. The amp is extremely loud and very light. Pretty easy to use too, it is a very good amp. However, I still use my Katana 50 more because it is just easier to get a fantastic clean and crunch sound for blues. (I never play with high gain). And I feel like the sound of the Katana (MkI) is a little more natural, more "3D". I feel that in terms of price/value, the Katana is a little better, but both are great amps.
Hey Max! I was so very close to pulling the trigger on getting a BOSS Katana MKII 100, but I've heard of some issues regarding sound on it. This video was perfect timing for me as I am now REALLY considering the Fender GTX100 instead, which is even cheaper, by like $200 and comes with the foot switch. Thank you for this! 👍 You made my week!
I've always enjoyed the sound you get, and wondered about your signal chain. In your guitar demos, I've noticed that you don't mess around with pedals and settings. Now I understand why. That is an excellent sounding Amp, and seems to do everything you need. Thanks 👍
I am juuuust good enough to call myself an intermediate player. I've used a Mustang LT40 for a little over a year and absolutely love it. Tonight I'm upgrading and getting the GTX and I'm excited. Thanks for the video!
I loved this amp so much, after 6 months I bought a second used one for half price just to have a back up in case it ever went down. Can't beat its versatility and sound. 40 amp models, 32 cabinets and 70 pedals.
I wonder how many people could NOT guess that you were going to pick that amp as your most useful piece of gear? As you said, you use that amp for pretty much every demo you do! I wondered why you wanted to give us some sound demos, but realized that you were showing us some sounds you usually don't use. Great stuff! I feel the same way about my ancient and still capable DigiTech gear. I have an old Fender Performer 650, but I almost never use it. I go right to my RP355 and rock out! I even did one gig with it and nothing else, running into the PA. Great sound and my favorite presets as well! (Of course, I filled up all the user memory slots with my own patches!)
Another great video, thank you so much. I am a Fender Mustang V2 owner and it is currently my "go-to" Amp because it has many similar features and it too is very practical to use. The GTX100 would seem to me to be the most logical successor to the Mustang V2 in terms of transitioning to something more modern. I totally agree and like your comment that when you want to play guitar, you don't necessarily want to whip out your phone or tablet (...or fire up a computer) and that's what I love about these amps. They are simply "Plug and Play" and any tone editing you want to do can be done directly on the amp and saved on the spot. Its also great that the foot switch is included with the GTX100 as I had to purchase the four button one separately for the Mustang because it only sold with a two button at the time.
Just a thought...Maybe you might want to think about adding the link to your full review of the Fender GTX100 with the other links in the opening description / comments??? I'm not going to accuse some that might just stumble across this video of being lazy and don't want to take the time to make the effort to search your videos for the review, but, there "are" those that want "Immediate Gratification" that might give you more views if you put the link to the review of the GTX100 in the prefacing comments. Not a complaint in the least. Just hoping to give you something to consider. You do great work, Max. Please keep the great videos coming!!!!
I have ADD and get lost and frustrated with programing digital amps and processors. I got to have my tubes. the Marshall DSL20H sounds fantastic at any volume. I also have a power soak If needed and keep my pedals simple.
I am a 67 year old newbie. I have a Mustang LT25. It has gobs of tones, and I can experiment with all the parameters in the menus. I also have a footswitch and a separate looper.
I take my GTX100 to church every Sunday and play it using the acoustic simulator. It always sounds good, It’s lightweight. It’s a great tool for writing and recording in stereo. It’s easy to use. Bluetooth works great to jam along with tracks. Also a great and portable Bluetooth speaker for parties. Easy best $500 I’ve spent on equipment. Thanks for the nice review Max.
I'd like to see Gibson create a Mesa Boogie competitor for the Fender GTX. Imagine all those Mesa amps in modeler form with a UK Vintage 30. Throw an EQ slider on it for good measure and call it a perfect gigging amp!
I got a great deal on a mint condition GTX50 with a GTX-7 footswitch on Reverb in May 2021. For Christmas, I got a Fender Mustang Micro. They're both great, but the Micro gets used the most. The neighbors like it too..
Hi Max after seeing your demo a couple years ago, I went out and bought the Fender GTX50 and paired it up with with the Wolf LP guitar. I seen you do a video of the AIO Guitars and I could not be happier with both guitar and amp. Thank You 👍🎸love watching your videos. These are a incredible amp. It’s also Bluetooth compatible, so your can play your favorite music through the amp and plug in 🎸 and play along.
My answer is very similar-- Fender Mustang Micro. I keep a guitar upstairs by the TV with the Micro and headphones. Extremely convenient. Use that Micro more than all my tube amps combined.
I owned a BOSS Katana for a few years, sold it to transition to 5w and 2w Mini real-tube heads to drive pedals... No regrets, but recently tried the new Line 6 Catalyst against this Fender Mustang in a Guitar Center showroom. The Fender Mustang won for me. I really see the Katana, Catalyst and Mustang competing in this digital, solid-state space. I really am surprised we don't see more influencers talking about how great these are.
Apart from watching your videos and all the helpful tips…you totally have a good choice of Shirts that Rocks… One more thing, would like to request if you can have some helpful videos for mods (nut materials, pick-ups, bridges, etc.) that could make a cheap guitar sound great. I saw what you did on the Jackson Roads guitar..that was totally cool.
I watched all the amp demos about 6 mos ago when I decided to buy one amp to end looking at all amps. I just play at home so a smaller amp was the object. I almost did the Spark but the Fender Mustang seemed to be the TH-cam guitar channels choice in this category. I got it and would recommend it to anyone. More than plenty loud if you want it to be. The quality presets and the ability to add my own did it for me.
I bought a Deluxe 90 in 2007, very similar with some really useable effects but also a good clean pedal platform. Works well by itself and great clean headroom for pedals! All around a good workhorse!
Hello Max & other reviewers. I bought the older Mustang V v2 when it came out. Thats years ago. It has alot of digital trickery. The biggest item I use is the stereo speaker thing. It is a 150 watt head to 75 watts per channel. All built in. I passed up on the LT & GT amps due to no stereo. The GTX has been out now for 2 years & thats all you get for a warenty. Fender has no support for the older Mustangs or Fuse software. This will happen to GTX somday. Im sure Fender has a newer thing coming to put these in the dust so those of us with GAS will have to buy the next gen. A GTX II. It never ends. What are the next amps ? How many pedal options can they stuff into it ? Stereo? Bluetooth to your car as you drive with the amp to a gig ? Actually Im looking forward to the next fancy, digital, super creation from Fender. Thank heaven we got Max to clarify the new stuff. Keep it coming Max.....
Total surprise here! I honestly thought you were going to reveal a special piece of gear that almost all guitarists use the most ---- your favorite pick! Maybe you have already done that and I missed it.
I bought the GTX100 two years ago as an upgrade from a Mustang II, influenced by the many tone possibilities. The transparency of the Fender Tone app is great as an introduction to effects and pedals for newbies. I like the footswitch convenience. The clean tones can be very warm for blues and jazz fans or it will scream. The 12” Celestion speaker sounds great now. Don’t know why Fender hasn’t marketed it harder lately.
I love my Mustang v2. I got it with both optional foot switches, and its light, and very programmable. If I cannot run a pedal board into a PA, this is my go to. Its easy to swap the cone if you want, all around a good jack of all trades.
Great review! When I don’t know the high gain tones are digital I don’t often notice the difference and your vids always sound great! Glad the amp works for you. When do we get to hear the metaltronix in the back?
Max, first, it was your inspiration with this amp that is the reason why I own one. I love mine. I am a huge Fender tube amp fan. As far as settings, I love the "Ambient wash" the best. Now, a question, "is it possible to hook up a speaker extension cabinet to this amp?" I like to hear the sound through multiple speakers.
In addition, I would say that I use a Line 6 Pod Go in combination with my GTX100 and if I want to use the amp/cab sims from the Pod Go, I put the amp settings to a Studio Pre-Amp setting and use it basically like a Cab for the Pod Go. On top of that, I can use the footswitch and the app to set up a signal chain with five pedals to be used in combination with the pedal models on my Pod God, giving me a "Pedal Board" with a Wah, and ten other effects options. Its completely incredible. The Tone app is super awesome as well. My favorite preset is the Hotwire preset that was made by Gary Clark Jr. and the Overplayin' with Joe preset made by Bonamasa. So much fun. And for everyone who thinks you can't gig with this...you are just incorrect about that. My Dad performed live in bars using the 50 watt version with zero issue. I literally rattles my whole house when I crank it up. Get one! Use your pedal board and then also use the onboard pedals. You deserve SO MANY PEDALS!!!
I have the 100 and it is amazing. It's light weight, has stereo xlr output to run straight to the board, has effects loop, and includes the footswitch which I use a bunch. It's almost the perfect amp except that the footswitch does not do tap tempo and that it has limited dsp. Other than that it is amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
For a couple of YEARS I’ve been noticing that you consistently get great sounds from even the cheapest of guitars! The amp truly is the MOST important link in the sound chain for a guitarist. 😎👍👍
Another great job, clear, precise, detailed yet not rambling and with excellent and professional presentation. As always, I learned something. Thanks.🙂
I bought a used GT40 and did the software updates. Great little " plug in and play" practice amp. People rag on the higher gain tones, but I like them. Most of the cloud presets aren't that great, but there are some good ones, if you look. Found a nice Rockman sim.
I love my GTX100. Biggest reason I bought it? It weighs 22 pounds. Even among the 100 watt multi fx amps like the Katana, it's the lightest. The only thing I don't like is the optional expression pedal. It's pre-fx, so using it for nice fades with reverb and delay doesn't work. It's an ok volume or wah controller.
Lots of versatile, good sounding options these days. I enjoyed your discussion of what you like about the Fender, how you use it, and the demo, very informative. I have two main rigs that I use more than any of my tube amps, pedals etc., 1) Boss GT-1000 or, 2) Boss SY-1000 I run these into a Behringer mixer and an Alto PA with a pair of TS315 + a TS318S sub. Works great at all volumes. I also use this PA with my keyboards and bass (usually with a Zoom B1on)
I use a Fender G-DEC amp for most of my playing, it is somewhat similar to that one. I love my G-DEC and I use it despite having a Positive Grid Spark practice amp and a 75 watt Pevey Viper. Great amp, nice fetures, it's all I need 99% of the time.
The G-Dec was a wonderful amp with great tone. I replaced the speaker in mine with a Jensen MOD. To bad the amp turned into a ghost and was pulled from the Fender product line.
I have a little Fender Mustang II for bedroom playing. It’s a great little amp. Doesn’t quite have all those features but I really enjoy it. Best part was I got it at GC used for $50
The Fender Mustang series, all of them, are great amps! Have the Mustang II. WANT THE GTX 100 but really no need. The 50 watt most likely since more versitile that Mustang II. I also have the Spark Amp. It is a great amp. I wouldnt talk someone outta buying one. Its perfect for me and my little room for recording. I would never use it for playing out. Too small and not powerful enough. But, when it comes to home recording, that is where it shines. And as a practice amp. Great demo!!
Hey Max. Great video. Couldnt agree more on this amp. If you ever findva Fender GDEC 30 for sale please grab it and review it. It is a true sleeper and the near ancestor of the Mustang series.
That seems like a really cool amp I own the spark 40 but I am not using it for gigs or anyting as a matter of fact I am just a play at home type person I like your content you do very good work love your presentations and how you go in detail with products I have watched your channel for a long time but have not subscribed but I have now thank you
what speaker emulation, when used for direct recording? I still use my fender mustang mini amp as my go-to, I put an industrial battery in it that lasts for days, I always reach for this amp when i want to play outside, busk, take to a friends place, etc. 6.5" speaker and battery power means no hassle with AC cables or plug. fender discontinued the small ones because likely there is not enough profit margin in them ($99 amp doesnt leave much profit) . I great set of reviews could be, best inexpensive Portable guitar setup (i.e. no AC power and least hassle to physically lug around, like for busking etc).
Thank you for going through some of the tones the Mustang can produce. My best friend has the 50W version with the foot pedal and it sound really good for the style he plays. I've got my Katana Artist and he's got his Fender Mustang and we're both tickled Machine Gun Kelly Pink.
Mine is Boss GT-8 Line6 Floor POD PLUS Dunlop Jimi hendrix band of gypsy's Fuzz Face Fulltone Deja Vibe MDV-3 Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe and Electro Harmonix Good Vibes Dunlop Echoplex delay Crybaby Classic Wah with Fassel inductor..Amps are the older Vox valvetronix hybrids 2007 ADVT50 and 2009 Vt100 I have other Amps but I use these the most
The older Vox Valvetronix hybrid amps are still some of the very best amps ever made I just changed the 12Ax7 Tubes in both of them Electro Harmonix with gold pins $160
@Dr.Strange Meat yes most definitely are wish Vox still made these.. I wouldn't buy any of the newer ones there not even close to the original older Vox Valvetronix hybrid amps and yes the 12Ax7 Tubes for them are very expensive with the Tube Shortage
Yyyeesss, I have this amp and it's just amazing, I use it heaps for metal but I always get hate for saying it but this amp can do almost anything and everything
Thanks for a great overview of a solid piece of real-world gear! I have yet to find a reason to replace my v1 Mustang IV, despite Fender shutting down support for the software.
I use a Mustang II GT40 for recording still a great clean amp also using Fender Tone Software and App can backup setting then flash them over to the larger Fender GT 200 for live without loosing any quality of sound.
Have a GT 40 and GT 100 and love them both just couldn't justify replacing them with the upgraded GTX. Thousands of presets and you can always use separate pedals if you want. IMO the spark is a great little amp, but the lack of presets is a drawback. The great thing about the GT/GTX series over the spark is with the GT/GTX, you don't just have models of amps and cabinets but models of different brands of pedals. And the great thing about the updated app is you can now try the patches before you download it.
I have a Mustang 1 and slapped a Celestion 10" in there. Using the computer interfaceing program .. I've been able to get some good heavy distortion tones. My tube amps are just too loud though they sound great at volume 1-3.
Thats cool. Fender amps are bad ass. I use the fender champion alot and fender acoustasonic alot. For clean electric guitars i use a vintage peavy renown 1983 . Very clean . And i sometimes use my vintage carvin 212. Its a nice clean amp. I play my gretch threw it. I like your mustang clean tone. I m not crazy about the distortion its on the sonic side but ok . But your clean is real sweet.
Hi, just found your channel and like the content so far...I am actually considering this amp or the Katana, I am leaning towards this Fender GTX 100 Could you maybe do a video showing the metal presets and or how to dial in a couple good metal tones The styles I would most likely play would be Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden ....Dream Theater, Pagans Mind etc
Aloha, 😎🤙 If I was playing guitar professionally I would get the Fender GTX100 but because I just wanted something less watts to practice & jam at home that is low cost I currently have a Peavey Vyrpr VIP 2 40 watt with built-in effects that sells for $249. I love my amp for my needs. But when I first started watching your vids I got me a BlackstarHT-20R MkII amp but switched it after 2 wks.
I have used both this one and the Katana. Both are really nice in features. The amount of tones and effects are pretty nice as well. For my money though, I love the Katana Artist, it is very loud, but so clean and clear on the distortion and effects. Again, I like both of them, but for the money and volume, I have the Artist Katana 100w. I used to jam out a lot on this amp in the store though, so I am pretty familiar with it. Can't go wrong with either one really.
As a Vox Fanboy I loved my PF10 and VT20+ the last years...a friend of mine told me to check the Fender LT25.... both VOX Amps went to eBay at the same day I got the LT25....I saw the GTX and thought the LT was a bit limited with arranging the Pedals....got the GTX50....the LT went on ebay the same day 😂 Yes, I'm a Gear$lut but the GTX sounds magic... Check Preset: Year 2249 😵💫💘 - Acutally waiting for the Hotone Ampero 2 to compare it with the GTX, because for my Taste, the GTX HiGain Sounds are a bit softy? Will do a Comparison on my Channel, but I hope the GTX won't go on ebay the day the Ampero arrives 😂🤞
I have the Marshall version of this. It doesn't have the stereo effects the fender has, but I'm really happy with it for many of the same reasons you mentioned. It has a ton of sounds and is easy to record with the digital out. I wonder how you compare the 2?
I have a Blackstar ht 60 stage way to heavy for every day playing out so I use a mashall code.50 basically the same deal as the fender with all the built in effects but it has a foot pedal to controll everything usb out for recording and a Bluetooth interface on my phone for easy control without having to stand on top of the Amp where I can't hear what I'm mixing untill I step in front of the amp works really well and 50 watts is more then enough for the clubs I play
I love that a. I guess I never paid it and text to you using that I love that is Stereo in and out impedance out for recording I think that's like the ultimate camping only thing I would change about it is I would have put two speakers in a cabinet so it could have been stereo when you're playing on your own
I like the idea/concept of this amplifier, its just that it isn't built to last 10+ years. I suppose at that point with the low cost you could just get the next new and improved version. Everybody's different, I just tend to keep equipment a really long time. I'm still playing through a Twin Reverb I purchased new back in 1976!
I am really not a that good guitar player but at 76 yo my gtx 100 makes me sound quite good. It is really quite amazing, as you have said, from clean to dirty and some songs I wrote a long time ago on a 12 string accoustic now sound really good. Unlike you I find that the app just makes it easier but listening to you playing - well. Not a chance. Do I enjoy playing - hell yes - even with the foot switch. Oh I first bought a LT 25 but my little niece has it now and she is already better than me even though I have had mine for over 3 years.
Dude, I'm with ya,I plug into my Mustang GT40 way more than anything else. It's super easy, dont have to pull out pedals, every close sound is there at the dial of a wheel.....and recording with a pocket studio Boss is a great way to keep up with everything and it has even better sounds than most amps. Tubes are really over rated unless playing live.
Thanks for the great review. For rehearsal or small gigs, using their respective foot switches, the GTX or Kat Artist? What would you pick? Mostly for clean and OD tones.
I love my GTX100. I am 66 years old and at one time or another wanted every amp i have now in my Fender. I am also an electronics Engineer and I believe in mathematical modeling. Thanks for adding :)

Finally somebody really talking about the Fender GTX. Everyone else talks about the Katana and the Catalyst. Thanks Max.

I have a Roland JC40 and it's also perfect for truly being able to hear what the pedal itself sounds like.
I have the JC 120 Chorus and it is amazing... And will break your back🥴
@@CaptainCraigKWMRZ You still have a back? Rolands are pedal beasts.
I have one too excellent amp
I loved this amp so much, after 6 months I bought a second used one for half price just to have a back up in case it ever went down. Can't beat its versatility and sound. 40 amp models, 32 cabinets and 70 pedals.
The way you unveiled that amp was genius!! I had to go back and watch it again. Thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Lol. Great idea!

You've actually succeeded in sparking my interest regarding a Fender product. Not an easy task.
High five!

Fender Mustang Micro.
My boss Nextone Artist was pretty neat. The Catalyst is line 6's version.
I love my Ibanez AF75D Semi-hollow guitar. I love my Vox AD30VT. I also love my Boss Katana and Orange Crush.
Always enjoy your videos, Max. But I'm digging the Cobra Kai T-shirt as well😆
Been using a Peavey Ultra Tube 112 with a warehouse veteran speaker in it. It's an absolutely amazing amp if you can find them anymore lol.
Apart from watching your videos and all the helpful tips…you totally have a good choice of Shirts that Rocks…
One more thing, would like to request if you can have some helpful videos for mods (nut materials, pick-ups, bridges, etc.) that could make a cheap guitar sound great. I saw what you did on the Jackson Roads guitar..that was totally cool.
Thank you! I'll see about doing more mod videos!
The line 6 V240 has two 12 inch celestion cream backs in it .
Just bought this amp today...It is bloody amazing...Thanks for your info..Your a legend 🎸
Excellent!
Thank you for making this video. I love mine like it's an actual person. People out there just don't know and they need to.
Great video! I bought the Mustang GT 40 about two years ago and I use more than 50% of the time just because of it’s convenience factor.
For a couple of YEARS I’ve been noticing that you consistently get great sounds from even the cheapest of guitars!
The amp truly is the MOST important link in the sound chain for a guitarist.
😎👍👍
Great review. I have this amp and I absolutely love it. Sound quality is unbelievable.
Couldn't agree more!
Love my champion 100, I use the JAZZ model on ch 2 for an ultra clean pedal platform.
Channel one I use as a mute.
Lots of versatile, good sounding options these days. I enjoyed your discussion of what you like about the Fender, how you use it, and the demo, very informative.
I have two main rigs that I use more than any of my tube amps, pedals etc.,
1) Boss GT-1000 or,
2) Boss SY-1000
I run these into a Behringer mixer and an Alto PA with a pair of TS315 + a TS318S sub. Works great at all volumes. I also use this PA with my keyboards and bass (usually with a Zoom B1on)
I just bought the GTX 100 and cannot wait to play on it.
I thought for sure you were gonna pull out a guitar pick, hehe.
All great.
Right now, '20 Epi Jr into a first gen Micro Cube,,,,apt life. Pretty great.
I get tired of HP's but how i played waaay back.
Hey Max. Great video. Couldnt agree more on this amp. If you ever findva Fender GDEC 30 for sale please grab it and review it. It is a true sleeper and the near ancestor of the Mustang series.
Love these types of videos but please continue to review guitars too :)
It is absolutely awesome! I got all kinds of tones from the app and it sounds amazing!🎸🎸😀🔥🔥
Didnt expect that from a fender... nice amp!
I'm using an HX Stomp through a Orange Pedal Baby into a cab. Love the flexibility and portability
The built in looper is a big selling point for me. This is the only modeling amp that has it
Yyyeesss, I have this amp and it's just amazing, I use it heaps for metal but I always get hate for saying it but this amp can do almost anything and everything
Thanks, that's how reviews should be made.
Thanks for a great overview of a solid piece of real-world gear! I have yet to find a reason to replace my v1 Mustang IV, despite Fender shutting down support for the software.
Run it 'till it runs out of gas!
I have one too. I never turn on my tube amp. I love it my favorite amp. Love using my phone to make my own amp sounds.
Not the biggest surprise though :) The first thing that popped up in my mind was this amp, so I have probably heard it a couple of times. Good choice!
that was a nice way of covering the gear
Great video. Great T-shirt. SWEEP THE LEG!!
Got mine coming Friday. I now have a lt25 for sale
I have a Mustang 1 and slapped a Celestion 10" in there. Using the computer interfaceing program .. I've been able to get some good heavy distortion tones. My tube amps are just too loud though they sound great at volume 1-3.
I've had a GT100, Katana, and Valetronix. Gotta say the GT100 was the most versatile.
The Boss GT100 pedalboard?
@@GuitarMAXMusic No, the Fender Mustang GT100 amp. The version that came before the GTX. I bought it after seeing your review back in 2019
Love the shirt dude
Hi, just found your channel and like the content so far...I am actually considering this amp or the Katana, I am leaning towards this Fender GTX 100
Could you maybe do a video showing the metal presets and or how to dial in a couple good metal tones
The styles I would most likely play would be Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden ....Dream Theater, Pagans Mind etc
excellent! more of these please
Try a Marshall Code series if you like the Mustang!
I was going to suggest this to Max -- I love my CODE 50
WoW! I'm sold.
Aloha, 😎🤙
If I was playing guitar professionally I would get the Fender GTX100 but because I just wanted something less watts to practice & jam at home that is low cost I currently have a Peavey Vyrpr VIP 2 40 watt with built-in effects that sells for $249.
Top-notch content!
Thanks Alex!
For recording the mustang gt series is fantastic!
What makes you think it's not built to last?
Tried the 50 watt version a while back with a bass and it was way cool.
Im REALLY thinkin of gettin 1! You just sold me!
That Metaltronix!!
Tubes are really over rated unless playing live.
and if you mike even my little amp......you can get even better sound
what sorcery is this at 1:02 ?
Thanks for the great review. For rehearsal or small gigs, using their respective foot switches, the GTX or Kat Artist? What would you pick? Mostly for clean and OD tones.
Do they make 2X12 combo? Is the stereo function for recording only? Thanks 🙏
