"Do not be afraid" is a sentence often mentioned in the bible when people have an encounter with angels. It makes total sense with how the bible describes angels.
It does not necessarily have anything to do with looks, but it does have a lot to do with power and authority. I was in a meeting once where there was all of a sudden the overwhelming sense that we needed to get on our faces before God. It was like you will humble yourself before God and honor Him or you will pay. It was not a spoken thing at all, but all at the same time the 100 people or so in the room all dove for the floor and laid there worshiping God. It was the fear of God and the total sense of His immense power and holiness.

My daughter is obsessed with this she’s only 14 years old and she’s been drawing this creature for quite a while now ..she knows it’s an angel.. She kept trying to tell me that angels don’t look like what they think or we think that they look like.
I am 17 years old, and I remember having this strange feeling back in July 2023, when I was 16, I had this strange feeling that there was more to me then I known. Because whenever I seen the angel pictures, they feel so close and familiar. And then back in September 2023, I had this sad feeling that I was getting too far away from Christ. I don't know if this is just a random feeling, or if there was more to me then even I know. Because all I know, is that I am way different then all the other teenagers these days. Because everyday I always think about Jesus and the future in Heaven. And then I barely hang out with other people, because I never really feel like it. And then just this month, I realized how important love really is. I never been in a relationship before, but I can almost feel the pain some people have when they talk about them having to break up with someone they care about. I never felt like this all my life, but it feels like a reminder. Life is just a test really, to prove you belong in Heaven. So many people are blinded by that, and they walk in darlness, and it's only a matter of time until they hump into the devil. I just hope people start looking up to Jesus Christ, because I feel that this world may be coming to an end. We can never prepare for it, all we can do is put our trust unto Jesus, and pray that our loved ones truly know him as well.

You are correct, interestingly enough, there is thoughts that the “serpent” in the garden was one of these. Knowing the readers would understand the metaphor in which it this serpent was being referenced.

He claims the etymology aligns with this. The Old Testament God - Yahweh - if you break down the etymology, then take into account the descriptions and other language used describing YHWH, you'll find the OT is filled with what can only be described as something akin to a DRAGON. Yes. A freaking dragon 🐲🐉🐲 Not to mention, YHWH seemed to be pretty scary, violent, aggressive and focused on punishing, sacrificing, vengeance....whereas New Testament God is all loving/merciful/peaceful. So, he claims OT YHWH may in fact have been a false god.
I'm not saying I agree with the guy, but there is a lot of language in the Bible referencing Yahweh having characteristics of what we would recognize as a dragon if we pictured it in our mind. There's a whole community of people who believe this- just type in "Yahweh old Testament God dragon" and you'll find many videos with Bible quotes people believe back this up.
