I will vouch for this story. I live 20mins away from where this is in Yakima, Wa. Where the hole is is in Ellensburg, Wa and the name of the mountain range where Mel’s hole is is on Manastash Ridge. There’s a highway that runs next to the hole but at a very far distance. Like you can tell if there’s cars there or people but they’re very small looking towards the hole. I believe the government even came on the property and did their own studies and checked things out. No one can even get near it bc they’ve closed it off to the community. Ellensburg is a quiet little rural college town so it’s pretty quiet and not much happens around there. There was a time when you could see a bunch of blacked out vehicles up there like unmarked police and government vehicles and tons of blue tarps covering areas. Now we’re not talking about small hole. This hole is close to the size of a football field. It’s not some small size whole. I’ve also heard about a lot of the stories you were talking about like with the dog and dropping things down it to see if you hear a splash or thud from it hitting the bottom. I believe what they finally came up with it’s some kind of demonic portal and they won’t let anyone close to it or you get chased off. They’ve even stuck digital cameras on fishing line to see if they could see anything and it’s just black. I’ve lived here my entire life and there’s like motorbike and 3 wheeler and quad trails up and down that ridge where it’s at. My family use to three wheel up and down those hills but the trails never came close to that hole. There’s an observatory parking lot that looks over Ellensburg but is quite a bit further down from the hole. So who knows what it really is but things are somewhat hushed about it and no one really knows in the community other then the stories you were talking about other then that.

I encourage you young men (and viewers) to listen to these shows, you have many details wrong and the story is much weirder and interesting than your descriptions... i'm pleased younger generations have discovered the late' great' Art Bell and are passing his programmes to the next generations, keeping him relevant in today's insanity.. I was listening to the segments last night. Mel was a guest on coast to coast 5x. The first segment was Mel’s introduction to the hole. The second segment Mel was a little freaked out because the military was blocking access to the hole. Mel said he spoke a person in charge at the hole site. Mel found it odd the person he spoke to was dressed in civilian clothing but excused it saying perhaps that person had to get to the site quickly due to their reasons being there. Mel said the military said there was an aircraft crash at the location and Mel wasn’t allowed on his property until the investigation was complete. Mel said they threatened him because he had a medicinal medicine lab on the property but the military described it as a possible drug lab. Mel was studying medicine plans to cure the common cold and flu. Mel said if the military does conclude the lab as a drug lab they can take over his land. Mel also received a real estate offer but hasn’t called back to confirm the amount offered or by whom. The third segment wasnt Mel. It sounded like a completely different guy. Someone analyzed the voice with some sort of software and concluded it was a different guy. People believe Mel said too much during the second segment and don’t know what truly happened to Mel.

In 2002, a group of thirty people led by Gerald Osborne undertook an expedition to find the hole, but were unable to locate it.
According to State Department of Natural Resources geologist Jack Powell, the hole does not exist and is geologically impossible. A hole of the depth claimed "would collapse into itself under the tremendous pressure and heat from the surrounding strata," said Powell. Powell said an ordinary old mine shaft on private property was probably the inspiration for the stories, and commented that Mel's Hole had established itself as a legend "based on no evidence at all." Geologist Pat Pringle doubted Waters story about having lowered 80,000 feet of fishing line into a hole, saying that the heat of the Earth would have snapped it before it could reach such a depth.
Local news reporters who investigated the claims found no public records of anyone named Mel Waters ever residing in, or owning property in, Kittitas County.

The more I thought about this from a biblical standpoint the more it would seem that, perhaps these holes are remnants of when the waters of the great deep opened up and shot the water into the atmosphere. I saw a video stating research of asteroids found on the moon that shows biological growth/properties that's found only on earth stating that when the fountains of the deep opened they shot meteors/asteroids at the moon (making the pits we see on this side of the moon). Meaning, that if it shot up with that much force, it could stand to reason that holes such as that could of been made from such events.

When the Earth gave up it's waters during the "Great Food" is just a way of saying the ground became too saturated to absorb anymore. Btw, the flood also occurred in the area of Iraq where the Tigris and Euphrates run. The flood affected Noah and his people NOT the entire world. To my knowledge, the prevailing theory is something happened around Eastern Turkey (glacier collapse or earthquake that released an ancient sea in the mountains. The water ran down and filled the plains and valleys of Iraq. At that time, Noah is said to have been living in Ur; a coastal town. Today that same town is probably 100 miles or so inland due to the massive amounts of sediment from that flood.

Her shock and awe would be more believable if she didn't exaggerate it as much, and timed it properly. If it wasn't scripted, though should give her lines, and if it was scripted, they need to have her rehearse it more.

Has anybody heard of the 13th century Houska Castle in the Czech Republic, north of Prague? History claims that it was built over and around a pit to Hell, the building’s defensive walls were even built facing inward 😳 It was occupied by Nazis during WWII where it’s said they conducted occult experiments using “the power of hell” (Hitler loved that stuff). It is believed it was built solely to contain that pit and its occupants as it was never truly lived in nor seemingly built for that purpose. Apparently screaming from the pit was what made them believe it was a pit to hell in the first place. Very creepy.

This is not the etirety of the strange occurrences that happened to Mel, he said when he was near it with his radio it would play baseball games and radio from like 50 to 60 years before, also he was bought out by the government for a few million dollars and had to sign an NDA and move out of the country, after a while he decided to move back and went on the radio again. This is where the story gets really strange the area he lived was up in like washington or something, he got on a bus to go back to his old property something happened and the bus was forced to stop, this is when Mel apparently blacked out and wome up in an alley in California all beat to hell, and his molars were surgically removed from his mouth. His wallet and everything was gone and the money in his account was gone as well.

Unfortunately this story is not even real...
First, there is no record of anyone named Mel Waters living anywhere in Kittitas County. Also, people have scoured Manastash Ridge and never found the hole.
