Love #7 Tip! 💕😀. I haven’t been proactive throughout this process and I have been dependent on what my counselor would tell me to do (SEP) but my husband kept pushing me to get into the prereqs and take classes. Now, I am thankful to him for doing it and thank goodness I made it to my RN application! Hopefully will get accepted in April. Good luck 💕
That’s so sweet and it helps so much to have that encouragement! My husband does that for me too 😁 Keep me posted on your acceptance-I know you got this!
Not a nursing student, but I could've went straight to x ray school at my community college if I actually took school seriously and knew about the program. At the same time, there a so many fond memories, and people I met in college and probably wiser by now.
Very helpful video! Was also wondering if the nursing programs you’re applying for look at healthcare work experience or volunteer hours... my school only looks at the prerequisites GPA and the TEAS score ☹️

@@EstyNistor thank you! Will let you know if I get in. Are you going to apply for the program this year?
Yes, I also am applying for this fall 2021. I may end up waiting another year before I start however....we’ll see ☺️
great video! I've been a nurse for a couple of years and I definitely agree!

I feel similar...there’s so much I had no clue about at 18 🤦🏽♀️ but I also have a bunch of wonderful memories from college

Glad it was helpful! My school does not look at that either...they give scores based on how you did on the TEAS and then the grades you got on prereqs
Yes yes and yes lol
😁
