I literally done this 2 days ago, I’ve got a 335i so has the oil cooler, I also have the fog lights so had to cut all the ducting back, was a right chore by myself, defo worth it though :)

hi, was it the hole cut on one of ducts?
so i bought my car and it has the new bumper you installed. Ive been having diffuclty finding the correct grills. One fell off so i only have the right one. Do you know which grill online is the correct one that you have on your car?

I have a 2007 e90 335. I am looking to change the stock bumper to one of these M bumpers to increase the size of the lower center opening for the intercooler. I have a 7 inch intercooler and with the stock bumper only the top half of it sees any airflow. Can you comment about how much bigger the M bumper opening is than the stock bumper? It looks substantially larger, but does the opening allow airflow to the entire intercooler? I know the factory intercooler is not as deep, but the 7 inch ones are right up to the inside of the bumper so air can't get down to the lower half of the intercooler with the stock bumper. Thanks.
You will diffidently get more air flow i just dont know if it will be fully exposed, I can take a better look though cause i've got a 7inch intercooler waiting to go in as well.

Great video! I have an M3 bumper but it doesn’t have the headlight washer holes while my car does have headlight washers. Is there a way to remove the headlight washers or do I need to cut holes into the M3 bumper to fit them?
Thank you! That's a tough one, might be worth putting a cap on the end of the headlight washers and just forgetting you have that feature, I dunno how hard it would be to remove.

Hey, I’m kind of a noob. I want to take my oem bumper off and put on a aftermarket m3 bumper! Do I just put it on and if it fits on that means it will fit/work? Or do I need to do other stuff like match up the screw holes and all that stuff to know if it can be mounted on car?
For the most part yes, if everything lines up you should be good. The bottom screw holes take a little bit to line up tho so dont freak out if they don't line up right away. If you have a 2 door make sure the bumper is for a 2 door and same if you have a 4 door make sure the aftermarket bumper is for a 4 door.
do you know if the one from Ikon motorsports comes with air ducts for fog lights or just the ebay one?
I would hope so, I got mine from Ikon through ebay so hopefully if you get it from Ikon direct it will. I dont want to say yes for sure though without actually knowing.

Hey man, So you will lose your e92 ducts and fog lights with this kit, but it does come with upgraded M3 ducts. I hope thats what you were asking. lol

I’ve got a 2011 E92 335i. Looks like that one. Mines got M Aerodynamic pkg, but I want to change to that style M3 bumper and put an M3 hood and fenders on it. You’re changing the color of the car? Why??? Black over black is the best color combination. If you change to the blacked out roundels that IND com makes, he paints the chrome surround ring gloss black, as well as the blue field in circle. On the hood, trunk, wheels & steering wheel emblems, and you can plastidip the chrome trunk lid lettering gloss black. Having blacked out chrome emblems makes a huge visual difference. A blacked out black car can’t be beat.
What model and year do u have, I have a 328i 2010 sedan and was wondering if this bumper would fit
This bumper is for e92 coupes. They do make one for sedans though.
Which one exactly is this one because I’ve searched for it but it says that’s it’s not comparable with the e92

Once I get home tonight I can find out exactly which one it is but it just said 07-10 e92 and e93. Are you looking at the one for 4 doors by chance?

How did you screw it under the car?
because the m front is not straight like the original one...I'm just on it...
I was only able to get 6 of the under screws in and i honestly just tugged on it until the holes lined up then cinched them down. The middle screws are not in place because i couldn't get those to line up at all.

@@Basseboi157 I've got a buddy that runs a paint shop so I'm just going to see if he can get the color or we might have to make the color ourselves. I know some of the years have blue mixed with black so that parts going to be interesting. Or maybe just order it from BMW. I might respray the whole car though cause the clear is starting to lift in places.
if im installing the bumper with fog lights do i need the air ducts as well?
only if it comes with the ducts, a lot of the kits are just fog lights and no ducting.
I removed the top four screws so I could change my silver grills to black easier, the problem is that now one of the screws won't screw back in so I've only got three holding it in place.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?
Sorry for the late reply, did you get your issue figured out? thats kind of odd that its not wanting to go back into place, I know the bumpers are different from 2 door to 4 door maybe the grilles are as well.

I ended up leaving the bulbs in and its fine, if you take the bulbs out it will give you a warning light.

did the bumper from ikon motor sports come primed?
It seemed to be more of a sealer than a primer that's why I didnt want to risk it with the crap they put on the roads during the winter.
Are those m3 fenders ? Some 1 told me I gotta get m3 fenders first if I want to get m3 front bumper bc it won't fit if I don't? Is this tru ?
They are stock fenders, if you get a M3 rep bumper like I did the fenders you have are good. If you go with a OEM M3 bumper you will need the wide body M3 fenders.

anyone know if LCI e92s are much different?
Are you talking body wise? Headlights, front bumper, grille, rear bumper, taillights and rocker panels are different.
@@MitchCarveth yes body wise, and just front bumper. Was planning on following the vid, wondering how different it was going to be.
If I remember right the LCI headlights are shaped a little different where they meet the bumper. But the pumped its self should still mount the same.

Duct fitment issues with the bumper or where they go into the wheel well? I didn't really have any issues, they were a little bit of a pain to line up with the bumper though.
Mitch Carveth where they go into the wheel well the end of the duct seems too long for the cutout of the wheel well did you cut out a piece for it to fit ?
@@christopherlamas8299 I didn't have to cut anything, I just let them go through the wheel well hole. I haven't had any issues on tire rubbing if thats a concern.

Will this fit a 2011 328i?
Just depends on if its a 2door or 4door. if you have a 2 door it should work just fine.

I own a 2007 E93 335, bought the exact same bumper brought it to my mechanic and he said it doesn’t fit?!?!
Do you have a 4 door or 2 door? This bumper is for the 2 door, thats the only way I can see it having fitment issue due to the different size headlights.

Shit, I totally looked over the E93 my bad. Totally should fit then. Did he just look at it and say it wouldn't fit? Fitment shouldnt be difficult at all with this bumper.
did you just completely remove the fog lights ? it looks cooler like this i agree, but doesnt it give you an error on the bc?
Fog lights are completely removed but your right it does give me a fog light error on start up. I haven't had time to do it yet but i'm honestly just going to put the bulbs back in and manage them up and out of the way for now.
