Never had corn tamale until yesterday, I went to a Mexican grocer and bought a package of 3 for $6. Very much worth it.

I like Rick's cooking. Watch him on my local PBS station & saw him as the 1st challenger on American Iron Chef as he took on Bobby Flay. I like how Rick shows you how to cook "old school" authentic Mexican. Will have to try this recipe with the corn.

The correct singular form of the plural noun "tamales" depends on which language you are using. In English, the singular form "tamale" is a loan word from Spanish and is officially recognized as an English word by dictionaries such as the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. The singular "tamale" has been written in educated English discourse since 1854 (from the Nahuatl "tamalli"). If you are using the Spanish language, then the singular form derived from Nahuatl is "tamal".

I like Baylee's but I seen better tamales and those ingridients are his own . Original corn tamales aren't made that way .

Eliseo Lusian in Veracruz this is how they are made. My family has always done them this way, with meat but exactly like this. There are different types of tamales thru out the Latin cultures

You’ve obviously never tasted the ones he stuffs with goat cheese. They are divine! It’s his spin on sweet corn tamales. It tastes like sweet corn Columbian arepas stuffed with cheese, which I make often.
