- சென்னை மருத்துவ கல்லூரியில் இளங்கலை மருத்துவத்தை பயின்ற டாக்டர் ஷாலினி முதுகலையில் மன நல மருத்துவத்தை மதுரை மருத்துவ கல்லூரியில் முடித்தவர். தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் மருத்துவ பல்கலை கழகத்தில் “மகளிர் மனநலம்” குறித்த ஆராய்ச்சியில் முனைவர் பட்டம் பெற்றவர்.
தற்போது சென்னை மருத்துவ கல்லூரியின் மன நல பிரிவில் ஆராய்ச்சியாளராக பணி புரிந்து வருகிறார். மேலும் ‘உளநல சேவை மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி மையம்’ என்ற அமைப்பை நிறுவி அதன் இயக்குநராகவும் இருந்து வருகிறார். மனம் நலம் குறித்த பல தொலைகாட்சி நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் கலந்துகொள்வார்.
டீன் ஏஜ் பிரச்ச்னைகள், ஆளை அசத்தும் 60 கலைகள், அந்தரங்கம் இனிமையானது, ஆண் பெண், பெண்கள் மனசு, பெண்ணின் மறுபக்கம் என பல நூல்களையும் எழுதியுள்ளார்.
