Cheers! Trip down was fine thanks. We avoided egging your house on the way - but don’t forget we are coming back that way, so you never know! 😂😂😂 🥚 🥚 🥚
How great it is that you have come back to amuse us all with the day to day antics of your ventures, bringing out the best of what you do in doing what needs to be done. It's almost the same as watching an episode of George & Mildred. lol. You two make the best of each other and that's what makes you, you. Keep up the amazing lovable people you are. 🥰🖖
Ah the shrooms and brasso, I am so pleased we have stainless steel ones, I used to be polishing every week on our previous boat. Crack on guys, entertaining and informative as usual. Regards Alex and Maria
You both look so happy on your new "not a project" boat, and we're so happy you're vlogging again! Looking forward to following along on your travels and "not projects" 🤗
Just a suggestion, in regards to your solar panels, when you finally paint the roof, perhaps have the panels sit on top of 200mm -250mm high boxes to use for storage, it’ll give you something to do instead of thinking about the pub.😊
Glad to see you back on the canal and taking us on your adventure.nice to see you doing some jobs on your non project boat ,cant wait to see dawns brass work lol when she finds time love the honesty shop ,oh and the nearby pub. But to be honest more of your adventure and not too much work on the boat as i love the banter between you two 😊
Instead of moving the log burner, why not fit a water pump in the hot water circuit from the log burner? That way you get a positive flow around the radiators and heat elsewhere in the boat. You can get auxiliary water pumps for cars (VWs and Skoda's) that are designed to pump hot water. Obviously put it on the cold side pumping towards the log burner. So it's not pumping super-hot water.
Nice one, looking forward to seeing the log burner in a new position. Painting has brightened the inside up loads, looks much better, more homely somehow. Thanks guys xx
Didn’t see any carrot cake. But we were a bit overwhelmed by it all and grabbed what we had enough money in the emergency coin jar for! We are now on the staffs and Worcester - so not attempting hurleston locks again!
Love ypur video's. .. down to earth and honest 😊 But .. maybe, you should do somerhing about the voice over audio 🙄 It's a bit ... well ... how do you say that ... loud/cracking 🫣
@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget what happened with ‘nuts and volts’? I loved the conversion, toying with doing similar in my narrowboat, be great to hear more about it
@@ridermacleod423 we sold nuts n volts a bit over a year ago… the new owner planned on putting a diesel engine back in her though. Good luck with your conversion, hope it goes well.
@@ridermacleod423 it worked - then we blew the controller up and from there never got it sorted. With knowledge it’s possible to do a ‘budget’ conversion. But you really need to know electrics / batteries and charging inside out to get a system set up without paying out ‘big money’ 💰
All the best you 2 stay safe great family entertainment for us old farts.
Thankyou! And glad you like the videos! There should be some me out every Thursday at 3pm during the summer. 😄
@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget Were here just waiting were with you for the duration. Stay safe

It's not a project, it's a way of life.😁
Very true!

We are thoroughly enjoying our travels - and the work that’s involved with a ‘non project’! 😃😃😃
My favourite honesty box place on the cut.
Brilliant isn’t it! 😋
@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget Yes
The litte scone, jam and cream parcels are amazing from there! I lived down the road and during lockdown it was my favourite place.
@@SamCopson17 they are very good. Last autumn I passed that way and I spent £20.00 there

Good idea - will look into that before doing the final fit out. 😄
Hi guys, so happy to see you and your new videos coming out. I love watching this boat's non-projects being done! Happy Trails

Thankyou Jack. It’s good to have you along for the adventure - 2924 should be a good year for us all.
I know it as the “pointy” end and it will never be anything else 🤣
The Shroppie Fly is my local as I live in OverWater Marina. Great pub, lovely food.
The pointy end is general how we refer to it as well. Shroppie fly is great. We may return there in camper van at some stage.

We want the bed down at the front (bow!) so needed to move the log burner to fit that - as well as centralising the heat source.
@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget Fair enough, but you know you said the boat wasn't a project? Lol
Well... When you are boating on a budget, a certain number of projects are inevitable.
@@billharris6886 I know all too well about that. My alter ego is the Skintsailor. Although I'm too Skint to own a boat now.☹️
So glad you’re back and haven’t found a project to do.

It’s becoming much more homely with every job we do. Moving the log burner will be the next couple of videos… stay tuned! 😃
Missed you both and so happy that you're back. Your vlogs always give me a laugh ! Looking forward to seeing you throughout the coming months. xx

So glad you guys are back
Thankyou!
Great to see you back with your vids, best wishes.

Spot on! I couldnt find my microphone for it - until about 10 minutes after I uploaded the video!
Why didn't you cut the tiller pins shorter? Poor dawn. 😆
😂😂😂 sssshhhhhh. Don’t tell Dawn I could have done that! 😂😂😂
How come the pin that mounted at your tiller bird is so long?
It’s just how it came… 🤔
I was wondering that too.
Xx
Why isn’t this one electric?
It had a new diesel engine fitted back in 2015… so for now at least that’s staying where it is.
