Thing about Jevil is, unlike Sans who quickly drains your health the more you stay in his attacks, Jevil's attacks will hurt like hell if they even so much as scrape you, so with Sans you could fuck up a little bit and get scraped sometimes, but with Jevil, you really can't afford to do those mistakes repeatedly, you have to get better at dodging, otherwise say goodbye to health as Mr. Murder Happy Face kills it!.. :D

I would say that someone was Toby Fox, who also can be Gaster. Toby Fox: -Fell into his own creation -His experiment went wrong(game was made by accident by text to speech, according to the first game) -"shattered across space and time." Toby Fox can change everything about the space or time, whenever he wants, he is the dev. List could go on and on

Seems like by "nightmare", they could be talking about the stinger to chapter 1, which shows Chara taking Kris' soul out of their body so that they could taunt the player with their presence in-game. Chara could be the knight that the game will focus on, as the antagonist; after all, Jevil did describe Chara taking over Kris' body like that as "a shadow of the knight". It was the knight that corrupted both the king, and Jevil, making them both insane, and without love (an unnatural state for a monster, lightners and darkners alike; even Suzie eventually started feeling true guilt after he nearly killed the first person he'd ever considered a friend).

If you're asking how to get to this boss, it has nothing to do with whether or not you "killed" anything. The elevator from the prison area in the castle has an extra option. "????" Pick that, and you'll find a door to this boss. But in order to actually fight him you'll need to talk to the first store owner in the game. He puts you on a quest to find three key fragments. Finding them isn't too hard - just use the hint he provides for the first one, and make sure you've scoured every area for chests. Then repair the key (Only one very obvious guy that can do it), and then you can fight him.
I don't entirely remember, but I believe I took the destroyed cake (I forgot the exact name of the item but you should know what I mean) to the npc that can repair anything. He repairs it and gives you the spincake. At least that's what I remember.

This boss annoyed me only because I didnt know that pirouette was in a set pattern. It still only took me about 27-28 tries though.
