Never touched a souls game due to their known difficulty but yea~ the moment I saw Sophia from this video I got dazzled and out of curiosity I played the game. It was incredibly difficult and I rage quit and deleted my progress two times and finally finished it at my third playthrough. I'm currently on me New Game++, my final playthrough in an attempt to get all records. The game was harder than I expected, but the lore, atmosphere and characters really pushed me through. What a game it was... I wouldn't be able to experience this game if it weren't for your video, you really captured it's atmosphere. Thanks for sharing this pal, I wish you the best.
This game can by extremely frustating if you didn't understend what it want from you. As a veteran souls player, i fall on some shortcomes in the beginning and didn't give up because i'm really stubborn, but i was really not having a good time, but after i figure things out, i really fall in love with this game.
I haven't paid much attention to Lies of P, but your video came up in my recommended feed, and on a whim I gave it a try. It's set such a high bar because the rest of the OST can't compare to how wonderful this song is, even though I think a lot of the OST is very good. There's just something about this song, or maybe it's because this was the first song I heard, but I can't stop looping it. I think I'll be humming it for decades to come. It makes me feel this sense of surrounding darkness, sadness, and dread, but at the same time there's a small ray of hope, and you as the protagonist are that hope, and you can make it brighter. I liistened to this song when Ghepetto was explaining what was happening with all the areas, and it made me feel SO HYPED. Like, LETS KICK SOME PUPPET/MONSTER ASS!!! LETS MAKE THIS SHIT BETTER!! Its such a calm and quiet song, but it fills you with hope, its just so genius. And you really managed to capture that sense of darkness, somberness, hope and HYPE too, it really is interesting that a song like this could make me feel hyped, and your editing and footage really added to that. Thanks for making this and spending your time on it, you seriously did awesome work here and I'm glad theres a video that perfectly encapsulates the vibe and FEEL of the game. Ooph, after going back to this game from Lords of the Fallen its just night and day how much more precise the controls are in Lies of P, how much better the music and lore are, and it just doesn't glitch out every 8-10 seconds with frame rate drops, and such.
