First of all thanks a lot for your work I was certainly not expecting music of this caliber of quality in a game from a studio unknown to most before the release of this game, your music helped a lot in making the atmosphere of the game immerssive and charming.
Now since it's not every day I can find someone who worked on the game I just finished twice (I had a very good time with it), I would like to ask you if you know why the studio chose to take a very french oriented atmosphere instead of an italian one ? As a french I was really surprised because I was expecting an italian setting (pinocchio and its author being italian) and I found myself with exquisite music pieces sung in french and iconic parisian architecture (and even La belle époque era clothing ), I love it and it truly felt like a love letter to France with how much details all the teams put into it but I can't stop asking myself why France and not Italy ?

When I discovered my first Music disc, I was heavily disappointed that it was the item that I got. I reluctantly put on “Feel” and was amazed. It goes great with the atmosphere and influences emotions.

Everyone talking about "Feel" & "Quixotic", but I'm here bumping "Shadow Flower". Has to be the best soundtrack and most underrated, truly has that souls vibe to it.

Really didn't expect Feel to hit so hard. I walked into the lobby, saw the phonograph and figured I'd play the record while scrolling social media for a minute. Next thing you know I'm frozen in place listening to this absolute masterpiece! Probably my favorite gaming moment of the year so far and that's saying something with how many good games have released!

Feels, Fascination, Quixotic, Someday... So many great and atmospheric songs. Neowiz honestly didn't have to put so much effort into these songs just for this game, but they absolutely did, to the point where I would get just as excited finding another record, as I would finding a new weapon or outfit. This game's soundtrack is honestly one of the best I've ever listened to. This team deserves recognition for what they've achieved, and for how much passion they've put into this.
Fascination really stuck with me. In my mind that's the theme of the whole game.

Fascination playing during the entirety of the White Lady boss fight is honestly one of the highlights of all of souls-likes for me. was ASTOUNDED by what this game made me feel with it's music.
Couldn't agree more with this feeling. 1st time I heard it fighting the White Lady I couldn't get the song out of my head for days
How about when you fight the evil clown surrounded by flames?
I felt the same thing but at some point I stopped listening because I was blinded by rage, after the battle was over this song became a memory of the battle...can't help but smile and remember how mad I was.

I walked into the White Lady fight, and just stood there for a moment while Fascination played, ignoring the interact prompt until the song began again. When i found the Golden Record in NG+ and played it i cried in joy. Its such a beautiful song

@@rafe9852I'd say it's a little different. It depends on taste, because most fromsoft stuff is gothic and/or midieval. Whereas Lies of P had a more renaisance or classical era vibe
I would love to say that Feel is my favorite song, but Fascination is something out of this world. That violin pierces my heart and reaches my soul. I literally have no words to describe what I feel when I listen to it.
Thats how I feel about the song played in chapter 11 that starts when you see Sophia real body, need to find the name. Its so good, only other music I've felt similar to is halo music. I found myself wanting to discover the disc's because I like the music.

The memories of the first listening of every records in front on Geppetto's fireplace is engraved in my brain for ever, it feeled so good every time. What a game.
Every time I play a record in this game I can understand why our character progressively feels more human when he plays these because each song is so emotionally impactful that it makes you think this is what it means to be human.
The song, memory of beach, makes me nostalgic. I feel sorry for Antonia. "Proposal, flower, wolf" is also good.
The music of DJMAX series, with pathetic sorrow of Lies of P arrangement, is wonderful and epic
It's really a shame that this game wasn't even nominated for best soundtrack. It's my personal best game soundtrack of 2023 for sure!

Whenever I ended up enraged about a Boss I went back to the Hotel and listened to a few records to calm down again.
Literally what I did, I tried fighting the discarded policeman without an NPC helper like I did in the demo and it pummeled me good, after 5 or 6 times I went back to the hotel, put on "Feel" as I prepared and bought some consumables, it was quite inspiring...then next times I fought it I beat the crap out of it.
I dare say this game gonna win 1st place on 2023 Steam's Best Soundtrack section.
This game literally gave me the Feels. I love Neowiz's take on the original classic Pinocchio without completely screwing it over (I'm looking at you LionsGate). This take and Del Toro's are my absolute favorites. Also all the songs are amazing. If this game would win anything in the games reward, I would nominate it for the music and story.
Divine service, beach memory ,shadow flower and quixotic, are pure art, all songs are amazing dnyway, they did a perfect selection.

What I like about Golden beach is that the player starts, stops, stumbles, adds little personal flourishes, it’s not a machine reproduction of the music as it’s written, it’s a human adding little personal touches and imperfections and the singers laughs and humming really adds a sweet quality.

For me I give LoP the game of the year. The gameplay very enjoy. The story is very well interpreted from a fairy tale. The end credits are excellent and make you want to follow them. And that really can't be missed. The music in the game is the best.
I would throw my wallet at an official LP soundtrack of this game.

Track 9 Quixotic was sooo meaninful to me , i randomly tried to listen to it via hotel player ingame while me and vegnini were chatting about deciphering Romeo's dialogues and the cresendo of the song flourish the same moment it is revealed that the bone chilling name " Guessepe.. Geppetto. " it was so creepy and haunting to me.. realizing that your own father is the Villain all along and you think you know the man ? romeo was your friend all along.. yet you tragically duke it out with him and ultimately downing him permanently.. you were played , geppetto's grand facade web of lies , pulling the puppet strings all along and the tragic realization that you are about to pursue him from now and atleast get to the bottom of things even if it means going against him.. , i felt so betrayed and this whole thing gave me bittersweet re:zero feels vibes . Quixotic Best track , 2nd is golden version of Fascination as it reminds me of being inlove with my girl .
When you beat romeo again in NG+ the puppet language is deciphered and you're able to understand and read it. What he says during battle and when you kill him is very dark and sad. Something along the lines of "Is this what true freedom is...Thank you...Carlo..."

Some tracks are extremely emotional and full of sweet melodies - that is just something what touches the heart.
My absolute favorite of all is Someday, the voice of the singer is just so good, the slight rasp it's just so good!

Here for "Why" the instrumental is insanely good. I know its from Belle's quest, but i cant help when i hear it imagining Antonia and Polendina dancing in her last days after she's cured before she died...
The soul of this game is truly underrated, it stands toe to toe with the best fromsoft titles in my opinion, this isn't a game its a work of art.

Why is the OST still not available on platforms or even to buy in a vinyl form? These songs were specifically made for the game, right? If it is the case, what a wonderful performance from the singers and musicians in depicting the "belle epoque" era. This game’s OST is truly amazing and has a real soul on its own. I want to have it as an object, I want to be able to play the record on a record player
