    Thank you!! I will try this out! So healthy and delicious! Nopal Cactus also grows here in Spain and Portugal. They don't sell them at the market because nobody knows how to cook with them. But I can go outside and harvest some.

    I've made this many times...but never added the queso freaso. Also, I utilize more of a pico mixture, with white onions, but love the idea of the red. Will definitely try it this way!

    For the dressing, I wouldn't use lime juice AND vinegar - I would use either one, and honey/sugar!

    We made this beautiful salad tonight as a side for some tortilla soup. It's delightful! Refreshing, nice bite, and easy to make! I forgot the seranos unfortunately, that would only make it better! I subbed acv and white vinegar is the dressing. Thanks for a major keeper of a recipe!

    What are some suggestions for replacing the cilantro here? I’ve heard people say parsley but that’s a lot in the cooking and in the salad. I’m one of those unfortunate people that got taste buds that think cilantro tastes like dish soap.

    • @VillaCocina
      @VillaCocina  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can omit the cilantro. It will be fine.
