    The 2 into 1 long headers are not terrible loud at startup and idle but.....When you twist that throttle on the road....They roar...

      Quieter because the m8s idle when under 3mph on a single cylinder.

    Sick video man! I just picked up my st yesterday and I’m researching exhausts. My dyna had a thunderheader exhaust and I love the look on the st.

    Good looking ride man. I do not like having my phone on my bars either. I ended up using a Rockford Fosgate PMX-BTUR its a universal bluetooth controller. Works great and kept my bars nice and clean. Cheers

    Just added the X-Series Thunderheader to my 2019 114. It's the perfect match for the S&S 475 mid to top end cam. I also have an HPi throttle body, intake and V2 air cleaner. 117hp & 129tq! I'll DM you the dyno sheet.

    +2” fork tubes, lay down license plate frame, radial mount brakes, and stage II cam/tune would be cool.
    I like the RWD mono shock.
    The S&S teardrop completes the look. But, I wonder if anyone is really getting any noticeable midrange power improvement from the HPI ram tunnel and heavy breather setup?

    Did you get alot.of handlebar vibration with the stock bars? If so has it changed with changing the riser? Ive got a 2023 and feel like the bars buzz a ton. Cant even see in the mirror above 2500 rpm

      A bit more than some twin cams and evos I have had but not as significant as you describe. I would take that back to the dealer and ask.

  • @kawancraigstewart
    @kawancraigstewart 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Your thunder header is quieter then others because your bike is stock . You need cubes compression and a cam abs that exhaust won’t sound the same from idle until you crack it

    Awesome!! Mine is on it’s way!! I’m looking to do the risers, so with a 6.5inch no need to extend any cables or brake line? That’s a good news !

    • @lowriderstliving
      @lowriderstliving 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you stay at 6.5” your good. Anything above that or with a high bend bar you’ll need cables.

    • @rideforsobriety
      @rideforsobriety 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, I just wanted to provide some insight here. I have a ‘22 Street Bob. I had the 6.5” pull-back risers, and high bend bar from Thrashin’ Supply installed on my bike. The only extension required was for the LCD module. However, the stock bars (mini ape hangers) for my bike had a rise of 10”. With the addition of the risers and bars, the rise is now at 12”. I recommend their perch clamps, too; they make for a nice finishing touch. I also went with the Thunderheader exhaust. I'm picking it up from the shop tomorrow. I'm looking forward to getting on the road with the upgrade in the next couple of days!

    Nice mods. Was there more slack on stock wiring after installing the bar riser?

    • @pauldenton9568
      @pauldenton9568  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There wasn’t more after installing as the aftermarket Thrashin risers were taller than stock by about an inch. If you’re asking if there was additional slack on the stock wiring so I didn’t have to extend/splice- yes there was. The bar control wiring seemed to have a couple of extra inches. The gauge wiring was pretty much at the limit with the extra 1” of the new risers. But I didn’t have to cut or extend anything. Hope that helps.

  • @johndough5346
    @johndough5346 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Damn. I absolutely love every upgrade you have done with this. I had no idea the LD seat would push you more forward then others. Also I’m surprised how much pullback it looks like you get from the thrashin 6in risers. I thought the stock risers were about that. Do you feel much difference or think it’s worth it? I’m about the same height so lookin got reduce the reach a little. Thank you!

    • @pauldenton9568
      @pauldenton9568  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. I think the trashin risers make a difference over stock. I hate the bar angle, so I will change that soon. But just the risers are a nice upgrade. Trashin is expensive in my opinion, but I like the aesthetic.

    • @rideforsobriety
      @rideforsobriety 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, I just wanted to provide some more insight. In my opinion, Thrashin’ Supply is 100% worth the money. I've never run any other hard parts, so I can't speak to other brands. However, I highly recommend anything and everything from Thrashin’ Supply!

    • @pauldenton9568
      @pauldenton9568  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure. 6.5 pullbacks are awful close. It’s not the wires, it’s the cables that are very close- you may be able to get 7inches but I’d be concerned about when you turn the bars. Probably only one way to find out- sorry I don’t have more info

    I just don't think thunderheaders sound good on M8 bikes. Still has that sewing machine sound. Evos and Twin Cams they sound really good but I think for newer bikes your Bassani, HPIs and TBRs are much better options.

    What’s happening. I have a Lowrider ST as well. You can check it out on my page. Anyway wanted to give you a few things that can really wake your bike up that I didn’t hear if you were done or not the first is the Tune from the guys at fuel Moto. I agree they are super helpful and easy to work with But I took my bike with the Dyno jet tuner on it to a guy that was referred to me to get it Dyno’d and I had a 20 hp gain and a torque gain of 17 foot pounds. Also if you haven’t installed a cam please do so it makes the M8 sound bitchin! Bitchin bike though. Glad you said something about the klockwerks windshield. Was gonna get it. Got the taller HD Windshield and it’s great. Just had it tinted. Looks killer. 🤘🏼
