Can confirm this build works on a templar.I swapped over from a sparker to this build at level 97. I don't have all the spell suppression nodes, but I'm killing these games. Thank you so much sir for the guide!
How are you running both dread banner, aspect of the cat, grace and skitterbots, and still have enough mana left over to cast void sphere? I've tried everything, including enlighten lvl 4!

However, I have made like 100 div off just low elo runs, I want to get up to the higher stuff :). I noticed a guy below mentioned templar. Do you still stand behind the ranger base?

Soooo......this guide is GREAT - thanks for the excellent work - I'm almost ready to start doing TOTA, but couple questions - 1. why are we taking Arrow Dancing? if we already have 95% evasion it'll cover proj and melee - upping proj at the expense of melee seems like it just risks dropping melee to under 95% for a questionable benefit. and 2. knockback - if kineticism gives 100% knockback and it works for totems as well, we don't need knockback on ensnaring 6L - if it doesn't work for totems, then we just need the support gem. seems to me we could get by with just 1 of them - what am I missing? oops- may have just figured it out - are we using the support gem just for the additional knockback distance and not for the chance to knockback itself? sounds right, but with Meginord's we already have a lot of distance, so why not use the slot for some damage or something else? thanks again for the support.
1) Look a the optimised pob, we are not taking arrow dancing. But the ascendancy doesn't seem that optimised to mee since we are only benefiting from +2 proj and tailwind. Any other ranger ascendancy would be better in my opinion, especially raider for perma phasing, onslaught and enougth spell suppression to let you drop some on the gear (like the boots that cost a lot) or on the tree so that you can feel safe at a lower level with fewer passive points. 2) More knockback distance is better. It means a melee enemy will take longer to reach you and try to attack you while you are channeling its totem.

@travic - What is the point of not killing Kitava? Just for memes? Forfeiting the last skill point in exchange for resistances seems bad when you have 1hp anyways. What am I missing here?
@@Travic_ I see. Do you have a path of building for what it was like at level 69? I'm not sure which notes to prioritize from the POB in the TH-cam. Also, Why the ele rez on the stibnite flask? Wouldn't you rather have evasion?
I ve Just done this build and it works exacly as showed in the vid what is rare to compare vid into reality xD. I think those balistas can do better because they help but they could be not existing and we wouldnt See big difference. Void sphere is doing more 2link than balistas 6link xD. Any suggestions what for swap balistas or any other changes?

@@andreandrre2183 I havent explored a lot of the other options. If your going shockwave I assume you are going to big damage to kill them. The idea behind elementalist was to add in the nodes to freeze and chill everything super easily. Just basically it adds another level of slow. Since all hits chill xD. Though in regards to glacial cascade I dont know anything about it sorry :(

Quick question: I'm running a similar 1 hp build with capped block, spell dodge, and tons of evasion, and there's some kind of ground damage when I fight Ikiaho that just instantly kills me every time. It's like some kind of vortex or cold snap ground damage over time. Do you have a way to mitigate that?

I’ll have to look again when I’m on pc but it might be because of level 1 void sphere. Also because of the reduced mana on flask maybe.

Yeah that stuff kills me too, we’re sadly not immune to dot damage
