I've been using this on everything to do with renovations and house extensions. Absolutely brilliant. Much cheaper than the bosh. The laser last all day too
I am remodeling my house. I bought this laser to use in tiling the new master bath shower and also to use for siding installation. I can’t believe how much time it saves not to mention the instant accuracy you can achieve. It is worth every penny.
Just wanted to say thank you for the review. Went ahead and bought the laser level, detector and tripod all together and it was still cheaper then DeWalt. Looking forward to using it this summer. Thanks again!
Been using this for my Reno’s. It’s decent for the money. If you have natural sunlight coming in the laser fades big time. Bosch lasers are much brighter but more $$
I've used Stabila levels for years. They are excellent and accurate, but I wanted to speed things up so I bought the Huepar 621CG. Very good level. Very visible. Good battery life. It performed what I needed done without the huge cost, which more often than not, does not justify the work needed from the laser... sometimes it does, but if you aren't doing tile, or anything else where you need that thing on all day long, the Huepar does a great job.
Nice video but I have a question. What if you wanted to use it inside to find the highest /lowest spot on a floor say 1/4 -1/2 in. Could you use this product to do that? If so how? Thanks
Yes, you could do that. Just find a spot or doorway to set up the laser and use the receiver to locate your high and low points. It could be as easy as taping the receiver to a piece of PVC tubing.
Does the reciver work to detect all the lines? Like could I layout two marks 90 Degrees on the ground By turning the detector sideways?, To lay out a building
Fantastic review!! Just wondering if the receiver will also work with 2 vertical laser? Or the receiver only work with horizontal laser? Thanks so much!!
Huepar is only good for home, in door use but the brightness of lines does not compare to the higher quality lasers made by Hilti, Dewalt… i had a hilti green 2 line pm-2lg that got stolen on jobsite and dont want a recurrence to happen again, i decided to get the huepar gf360g thinking it was an upgrade since it was cheaper compared to the more expensive hilti w/ same features and figured if it was stolen again, it wouldnt be such a heartbreak but i was a bit disappointed….like fore mentioned good for home, has all the features needed and more but not really for commercial construction
I disagree completely - we have a £400+ dewalt with an 18v battery at work and my huepar is much brighter & gets 4 days use with semi heavy use with a full charge on the battery. Much better than dewalt
It would depend on your range. I found that in bright sunlight I can only about 40-50’ with this one. You might need something more powerful like the DT03.
It depends on your purpose. If you are a home owner and using it on occasional projects, the Heupar will be just fine. However, if it is for daily work on the jobsite, I think the bosch might have a higher powered laser to handle outdoor work.
You skipped the most important feature you should have tested for, accuracy at various distances. All the rest is meaningless if you can not get a true reading that is repeatable. A lot of the cheaper lasers are notoriously inaccurate (and some of the expensive ones as well!). Something like 3/8" plus or minus at 30 feet is going to be useless when you go to use it because it can be 3/8 below zero or 3/8 above making for a total error possible of 3/4" and you will never know just where it actually is. Considering it magnifies the further away from the unit that kind of accuracy is unacceptable if you are doing anything over room sized projects and I personally would not be happy with it even at those ranges.

That’s great to hear!

Absolutely! Probably one of the best tools I own!

That’s great! I use mine quite frequently!
2:49 dude, that’s a nice little workspace you have. You’re so lucky

Very true. It's a good product for the DIY group such as myself.
Straight, to the point, and great audio. Thank you!
Thank you!
Great video, I was thinking the same thing. I think I'll go "all in" too!
Thank you. It’s hard to beat for the overall price.

even a tiler does not use a laser all day.
Great review. Thanks..can you please let me know how good it works outdoors with the receiver?
Thank you. On an bright, sunny day, I get about 75 feet with the receiver.

Perfect video. Keep up the good work.

To lay out a building
Not sure. Never tried it.
What’s the range on the pulse/receiver ?
Fantastic review!!
Just wondering if the receiver will also work with 2 vertical laser? Or the receiver only work with horizontal laser? Thanks so much!!
The receiver is designed for checking vertical height/levels. For that, you would need the horizontal beam.

There are some tradeoffs for the price point. I just didn't have any of the other models to really compare directly to them.

hello great video, can you put a link of where is this available???? thanks again.
Hi. All the links are in the description.
Here is the link to the kit: amzn.to/2LuFucE
Is it self leveling
It is not active leveling but it is self leveling with a pendulum effect. So if you bump it, it will wobble until it comes to rest.
Can I use it for the landscape works ? With receiver ofcourse

Buenos días me puede ayudar con unos repuestos
Sorry, you would need to contact Huepar directly
How did you cut the foam to the item shape
I used a non sterilized surgical knife. Shadow Foam has a kit you can get.
How much price of this product
The link is in the description.
Could anyone tell me how thick the projected line is please
It gets wider and grainier as you get farther away. At about 100' is was about 1/8" thick +/- a little.
Currently unavailable 😢
Iam welder. You think this laser can help me?
If a green laser line shows up on your material then it could work for you. They also have a red version.
I got 12V/2A, is it real? The battery only 7,4 V,and cutt of charge 8.4 V, does it safe for that battery?
I mean my charger 12V/ 2A. does safe for 7,4V battery...? I think 10v is maksimum
@@anditoba4096 no, I wouldn’t try it. You could damage the electronics.
@@BusyDadsWorkshop i think i need to change that charger, can you send me the right option voltage?
@@anditoba4096 I would suggest contacting Huepar for the proper charger.
@@BusyDadsWorkshop thank's
Hi how thick is the foam in the box’s in mm pls
I think I used 2, 50mm layers.
hows the laser compare to a Dewalt laser?
I don't have a dewalt to compare directly. But, this has been good for all my needs around the house and outside for what I use it for.
I love all the fake replies from the manufacturer's bots.

it's not "heighth"!!!
Instead of saying reasonable price, why not say the actual price you paid 🤔
Sorry about that. I'll improve my wording next time.
Junk. Tried it. Died the 3rd use.
Sorry to hear that. Mine has been working great for almost 1-1/2. I would contact Huepar for a replacement.
