  • Great laser level tips & tricks, and how to use a laser level and eliminate the math when checking elevations. I will also show you how to use a cheap big-box store laser level for site grading.
No you don't need an expensive rotary type laser to do your own site-work!
I will show you how to make a simple "gage" block that makes using your laser level
a much simpler & math free process.
The laser level I used this video finally passed away, R.I.P 10 years old !
I have replaced it with this Bosch Laser level, working great so far.
here is a link if your interested (Bosch GLL 30)

Hey Brian I just watched this video. I just purchased a Bosch Laser level and they don't explain how to use it correctly. I purchased one a couple years ago and got frustrated try to use it so now I'm retired and want to do things around my house. You are the first one to not only explain it but actually physically show how you use it. Thank you so much and God Bless you Sir really appreciate it and I also subscribed to your channel God Bless America 🇺🇸 🙏

I like you yard stick idea and to make it even easier, I use a store bought "find the center yard stick" where the middle is zero and it automatically increases in each direction just like your shop made stick. When I am not using for the laser, I use it in the shop to find the center of boards. Thanks again, Bill
