My first 9960 was a warehouse special at a reduced price because the outside box was damaged. But the packaging was so good there was no inside damage at all!
Hello Roxane, first I wanted to thank you for your videos about the 9960 machine. I had watch several of them when I received my 9960 machine as a gift from my dearest dougther. After a year of using following your great advice I clean after each project and keep the best care possible. But few days ago in a middle of a new project my machine stop grabbing the bobbin tread and the stitches are not being made. I clean the top of the machine as per instructions, change again a needle and try again And it doesn’t work. Reading some steps saying it may be off the timing I wanted to know if in case you have a video showing how to manage the timing issue on this machine, then I can get back to continue with my project. I appreciate your response with the name of the video within your video series. Thank you so much. Best regards Sery
Hi Sery. That's really strange. Timing doesn't just "go out" on a machine without something causing it to lose timing. Since you didn't mention anything happening to the machine while you were sewing, I would suggest that you bring it into a technician and have them look it over for you. Hope you're able to resolve your issues.
