had to delete the first comment i made once i actually heard what he was saying. But the fact that in japanese he's bacially saying "dont take my heart" instead of "wait, anything but the gnosis" like the english dub / translation, makes my heart hurt more than it did before. T.T

"Kami no kokoro" means "heart of god" or "God's heart" which is exactly the same wording as in chinese: "神之心 Shén zhī Xīn, "Heart of God". " I don't know why localizations always change the wording for things as important as this. So no, he's STILL talking about the gnosis.

Maybe that's what they call gnosis in Japanese. He also said Kokoro which is heart but like in a sentimental way, actual heart is shinzou

A lot of things got changed in the translation from Chinese to English for some reason. For example, the gnosis is “heart of god” and visions are “eye of god”. The Japanese dub translates to the same thing.

he definetly says the same thing as the english dub. he says "kami(god) no('s) kokoro(heart)". if we translate it straightly the sentence goes as: "god's heart only..." and in japanese the phrasing is the opposite of english. wich would make it " ...only god's heart". in japanese some words can finish the sentence even if its actually unfinished. "dake" means "only" but when you use it with "wa" it means "not that at least" what he means is "dont take at least the god's heart" which equals to "anything but the god's heart, aka the gnosis". still the pain in his voice and the fact that he accepts anything that would be taken from him except the gnosis shows that he is desperate for a "heart", not power.
