Thanks a million. Energetic and effective explanation 👌. I'm a newbie to Workstations and recently bought the Nautilus....amazing instrument indeed. You're videos always makes me things easier with the Nautilus. TOP. Stefano from Italy.
Old tech. Yet to see anyone release anything truly new in the workstation package. Kronos sounded great but hated the sequencer ui. Mpc still has the easiest workflow imho. Fantom is pretty sweet, but Roland is too limited if you want sampling tools. Key 61 is as close to 'new' as we get in 2024. Keep coming back to pc vst system like latesr Native Instruments s88 mk3. Blows all these outdated sound sets and way better ui by far. Once new Maschine comes out, all this is old news overpriced limited tech.
Hello, I'm just starting with the Korg company (previously Roland Fantom G and Yamaha Tyros 3,4). Currently, I have the Korg PA5X, which, for me, is intuitive-I managed it without using the manual. I'm considering purchasing the Nautilus. The question is, can you record vocals directly onto audio tracks using a microphone on the Nautilus, then combine it with a MIDI track, save it, and play back the complete recorded song (the whole song)?
Hii, if I use copy from Combi it won't copy the volumes of the instruments...if I adjust it manually it does not get saved and changes back. Any idea why? On your Nautilus it just works fine
Problem is if I only want to quantize just a few notes on a track just to tidy it in certain areas, yet retain a more human characteristic on the rest of it, I cannot do this individually. It quantizes the WHOLE track!! Why is there no piano roll, after all these years?
If you check the parameter guide, you will see that you can not only choose the range of measures and beats you want to quantize in a track, but can also choose the event types and range of notes you want to quantize. Take a look around page 545.
Thank you! I was not able to use sequencer until now. But I can see it is easy. 👍
Thanks a million!!! I would like to follow you on the full cover tutorial - just to see the full process.

I wish they would add a piano roll, and a way to bounce the audio on separate tracks like a bounce to stems command.
excellent!
How is this 'easy' in comparison to the UI of, for instance, Roland Fantom?

I’m curious if you have the Pa5x why do you need the nautilus?
