Thank you to the NZ defence forces for your commitment in helping those who have been impacted by cyclone Gabrielle...this tells me that kindness and compassion has and will never be lost in the face of adversity...the relief and humanitarian aid needed for the people of NZ has brought some sense of relief for those who are still reeling in shock by the devastation of cyclone Gabrielle and seeing the people and the NZ defence forces and the whole of NZ unite togeather in times such as this when it is much needed...when I see people come togeather united it makes me proud to say that i am a KIWI...Kia kaha to all my whanau in Aotearoa, stand united, be supportive, stay strong and keep safe...Arohanui 💕❤💕❤

Was in the Esk Valley today getting some additional coms going. Saw heaps of disaster response people going hard-out getting the work done. Army, fire, SAR, civil engineering etc

After this has been dealt with the government has to get serious about getting our military capabilities up to scratch...as climate change gets worse the NZ military will be called upon more often to Proform these kinds of operations ...thay will need heavy lifting helicopter's to deliver large generator's and supplies to cut of communities and help with rescue missions... Navy need smaller landing craft to take water tanks and other heavy equipment to costal communities and the air force must be given a couple of C17 aircraft to transport military personnel , heavy equipment and medical supplies where there needed around the country...the military's Focus has to be first and foremost helping the country in a time of crisis and secondly to fight in wars!!!💕🇳🇿
