Our hearts and prayers goes out to those who had been affected by the hurricane. A big thanks to the army, firefighters, red cross and other groups that helps the people.

@@UncommonSense-wm5fd Thought that counts👍
@@allgood6760 Accuracy is important. The systems are classified by the region they are formed in.
Wonderful to see army etc helping out. You guys are awesome. Thank you so much.
They only do it for the cameras .I don't know anyone in auckland who got help after the floods
@nick car their doing it for the isolated community's mate people who can't get supplys last time I check auckland isn't isolated
As an ex gunner and grunt, I have to say, I Love Engineers!!!!
Great stuff Guys, humanity at its best coming together around a common goal, thank you for your service!!
That improvised bit of Engineering was awesome to see! Some real skills and ingenuity going on there! Awesome to see a group of Army personnel helping out. Outstanding work
I'm proud of you boys, well done. Veteran. RNZIR (82yo). Lower Hutt.
Wow, you go defence force. Well done. Be proud. Thank you for your service
Thankyou so much RNZA . We appreciate your bloody hard work and enginuity to solve problems.
Need more exposure on this awesomeness!
Notice all the Slash that is on the river banks and around the destroyed bridge. This seems to have been a contributing factor in a lot of distruction. I am told the Greens banned burning of slash years ago and that Forestry has also dropped the ball on this.
Not only that but the natural habitat has been disturbed also. New Zealand had wetlands running through the areas where farms are. Native trees were cut down for farming. Taking away the natural ecosystem just spells disaster. Everything plays a vital role. Māori have known this for years hence the reason marae are situated where they are. They didn't have this problem before farming was established. As sad as this is, this is the reality of New Zealand's future. Taxpayers will be left cleaning up the mess the NZGVT has failed to stop and will continually fail to stop if future-proofing isn't done.
This is so heart warming, thanks NZ Defence Force. Proud to be a kiwi!!!
That was a success. Good work guys.
Great job guys!! Keep it up 👍🏻

Amazing work by the army. Honestly think everyone could do with army training, it’s so efficient how they work.
Exactly like SGT Ferguson says at the end. Success. Well done! All the best for the future from Western Australia. We stand with you.

I was just at that camp a couple weeks ago, it's sad to see what mother nature can do
that is some nice kiwi engenering right there
great stuff guys
good to see positive action in motion
NOT bureaucracy having a meeting to discuss when the next meeting is and then burying everything in red tape
Good work .
Do you have any ponton bridges like we had in the NVA ( East German Army ) ? The bridge would be set up in lesser than 1 hour !
Doubt it bro, this is New Zealand.
Loved watching this. Kiwi know how to get the job done. Kia Kaha NZ
Nice work men.
good job nz army
Top effort mates.
Great work men! We need a much larger defence force !!! If we had 25,000 - imagine what they could do - but I think we only have 5000 available across Navy, Army & NZRAF combined troops.
Those cars that have been under water more than likely have sealed fuel tanks, you could
take gas from them also if you run out....
Awesome
Hey Furg remember Basra. Now, head up to Putorino - it needs a Bailey
Will a Bailey bridge will be used?
How come a temporary army bridge has not been arranged?
Awesome NZ ARMY.
Thank you Tumatauenga
This is what armies are for.
Army Angels...
That's why we got them for thank you
Well done boys ❤❤
Nice NZ Defence Force...
Rob D on TH-cam predicted this geo engineerd nightmare

One for our Sappers. 👍
China would be envious of such ingenuity.
"...this is not the master fix...." yes, it was at the time.
Might be time for the Defence force to reconsider their uniforms, in disaster relief high-vis would be more appropriate.
Gud you guys, Kiwi can do
Hearts brothers good work team
ngati Tūmatauenga

Brilliaant your army so sad to see what happened down there gods country
Sergeant MacGyver!
Pretty pissed that custom made vessels are no where to be seen.
What’s the price of fuel a litre 😂,

Ubique
If this was Chinese they would have stood around for ten hours waiting to get the Flag raising filmed perfect. That god we don't need to put flags on every mud mound. Great jobs to all. Sad.
who was the big wig that said the NZ army wasnt for baby sitting?
he ruined the image of the defence force for me.
best logistic chain we probably have in the country. use it more i say
Shouldn't they be busy resupplying their vital stocks of estrogen?
Anywhere Edom is upon the face of the earth they should be left most desolate according to scripture ( Ezekiel 25:12-13). Also Jeremiah 49 says that Esau descendants are spoiled.
just get on with it, no need to advertise
This isn't an ad for your enjoyment. it is updating ppl on what is going on.
@@pita3908 it's PR. Wake up.
