The INSANE thing about this performance: KZ sang this song in Chinese. KZ is Filipino. KZ cannot speak Chinese! I am Chinese and i cannot believe what KZ just did!!! To learn that KZ had to practice learning the pronunication of each Chinese character in 1-2 weeks in prep for this performance gives me so much respect for this girl. Superb singing and emoting, a very moving performance. Don't ask bc I won't tell, but she kinda reminds me of Judy Garland with her slim,short stature and broad shoulders. Interestingly, when she was on the X-Factor Philippines in 2012 (she won) she did a jazzy version of Somewhere Over the 🌈 (and another encore song). The judges gave her a standing O when done. One of them shouted "A star is born in Digos!" (the Philippines). A Star Is Born is a Judy Garland movie. Did you miss Jessie J? 3:48,she won. Some Jessie J fans accused Tandingan of singing in auto-tune during her time on the Singer show bc she bested her in a category, but it was actually vocal effects used which is different. KZ has a BS degree in Biology, she can just rip that up.

The one she sang is in Mandarin, one of tha langguge in China Taiwan, Hongkong, aside from Fokien. She need to learn it in a week before the performance proper! TAGALOG or FILIPINO is our native langguage!
