Iori basically matched if not surpassed Musashi in swordsmanship during Samurai Remnant, and there's no reason he wouldn't qualify for the Throne of Heroes as much as any other legend. That version of him at least. Different universes are also obviously no obstacle for Fate. Plus I'm sure they'd technically make more money in splitting them up. So no excuse really.
As for the endings: you actually have 4 main endings, 2 bad and 2 good ones. You also have a joke ending with Gilgamesh. And the game was made for you to actually play NG+ as it is also showing new content that develops Iori's character more than in a first playthrough. So in short, entire length of the game to achieve 100% of everything is ~60 hours. The game in NG+ is actually letting you turn on skip option that will gloss over already seen content. I do agree with the endings, even in NG+ they felt rushed. But everything else was great.

This is why endings are the weakest part of the game, not only are they short but both bad endings make no sense as he was not doing anything that would set him on that path. It would be like you doing good Dishonored play and getting the bad ending, if they gave us different choices and different storyline like in FSN VN then great but like this... It is true that it is concluding his character, but the way they write it is... lazy to say the least.
@@2SSSR2 Iori constantly being said to be born in the wrong era as well as every ending outside of this bad one saying his blade still hungered for blood made the reveal more believable. Plus, this might just be me, but whenever he claimed that he wanted to protect the current age of peace it didn’t feel like he was being genuine. This ending also brings more parallels between him and Musashi (who, for as heroic they can be, is the definition of a murder hobo).
@@2SSSR2did you skip the additional dialogues when playing ng+? They did a really good job of hiding Iori's true motive in the events you encounter and revealing it in the second play through.

As somebody who got into the Fate series thanks to Extella, this sounds right up my alley. However, I think I'll wait until the DLC drops so I can go through everything as smoothly as possible. Side note, I REALLY need to remind myself to make some time for Yakuza.
To correct you on one thing it's doubtful iori will be a pseudo servant for his father due to the fact iori is already a historically accomplished person in his life. He's more than likely going to have his own status as a servant because of his own historical value along with what was added in terms of fictional feats from this game

While what you're suggesting certainly isn't outside of Nasus usual tendencies to bend or break the rules to make something work I do stand by he will appear as a legit servant. Not a pseudo one. That's even more so the case given samurai remnant gave him a skill set that keeps him prepped for fgo in the saber class as he will likely be in the saber class and I don't doubt he will likely be a free 4 star unit.

Since this Iori is another hypothetical scenerio like female Musashi (who's only summonable due to their bond with Chaldea), they'll likely need a FSR crossover for this specific Iori to be summoned.
The game art style is creative and awesome and sometimes realism is not always the case with art. I hope other games in the future take notes from this and realize style over realism is always good in video games.👍🏾😁
well good news though Grand Order just did a collab with samurai remnant in JP with iori being the welfare and saber bein the new years servant, not just them but yui and 'rider' are in too but rider is in a different class though so theres that
I prefer the map like system in this over invasion in the new mortal kombat at least with this your working towards a certain objective under a time limit that ties into the story rather than just nonstop fighting there are times where you have to have a strategy for certain missions and enemies that's easy to understand that and the artwork is what sales this game for me can't wait to see how it plays out ❤❤
To your criticism of the escalation and ending I say yes, absolutely play the other main ending. While the problem is only fixed so much, I do think it is the best ending in the game because it gives nearly every character something interesting and memorable to do. I’d go so far as to say it mirrors the writing team’s last major work Fire Emblem Three Houses where amid a bunch of really awkward and inferior routes, there’s one that feels extra complete and satisfying. The other normal ending is (mostly) that route.
I picked this game up from my library and im javing a good amount of fun. I had no idea it was part of a series and i don't really care about the story but the combat is pretty fun. Wish there was a parry system though. Its way better than the Like a Dragon imo

It looked to me like one of the dynasty warriors type of games, but now im not sure if im still interested, since i wanna be able to change who i play and not be stuck, unless its for the first time. And thats if it is somewhat close to the idea
the game is good.. but story wise is not very memorable for me.. the cliché ideas are there.. the fighting system is simple and fun but evasion system is wonky in this game.. and some enemies attacks are simply impossible to react to sometimes you just have to guess..

Yamato Takeru is famous for dressing as a woman to sneak into a banquet and kill the guests. Samurai Remnant plays with this by making their appearance purposefully androgynous and having characters refer to them as both male and female. If you really want to bitch about it, it's likely that Takeru is a man since they are referred to as a son in flashbacks, but its not a vital part of their character.
Saber not being blonde is very fresh and new for Fate fans I'm sure XD
