    Hello! It's one of the most precise tutorial and I think it brings the most to me. You mentioned a lot key parameters. I hope you will keep helping people like me to surf or maybe one day you can coach me in Indo!
    Good job bro!

    Lots of surf instruction available on you tube, I reckon this is the best. Using one wave from an intermediate surfer (who surfs exactly like me btw) with detailed analysis is just gold. You deserve more views mate it’s excellent.

    Good advices in this vidéo, yes in bottom turn the rear arm must touch the water. But you missed two key points for every intermidiate surfer, I needed those advices and lost years, litteraly years doing the bad mouvement : keep the elbow of your front arm always , always far from your front knee, never ever cross them. And put always your back foot, far far on the pad, as far as possible , don't even think about turns without this key points...and you video, as many videos on TH-cam missed this huge important points . Thanks to surfpro technics channel. Cheers

    Interesting take on surfing. Very thorough. Thanks heaps. Will try to compress more, touch the water more and don't become obsessed with getting out to the shoulder

    Late to the party, but how I know when I'm doing a good bottom turn: I feel like a rubber band. On the way down and into the turn I'm expanding the rubber band (compressing my knees), upon extending my legs I get a huge burst of speed like I've released the band. Idk if that makes sense.

    • @independentsurfer
      @independentsurfer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea, that makes sense. Compressing in the bottom turn and extending out the bottom turn. I guess the idea is unweighting yourself to fight gravity and help reduce the amount of resistance the water acts on the board

    I can fluke sick nearrly vertical bottom turns on my back hand, umm forehand it's non existent it's more like a trim or as in forcing the board up the wave but still going down the line, I can't figure out how to do a good forehand bottom turn
