      Thanks for the kind words. The biggest thing I struggle with is coming up with topics to cover, would love some inspiration if you have anything specific you would like to know

    Really like how detailed you are in these videos in describing the weighting and unweighting of the Blackfoot vs front foot 👌🏽

    Just want to say your videos are excellent. The best I've seen on TH-cam with how you break down every part of the maneuver. It would be cool to incorporate maybe some GoPro footage as well so we can see every aspect. Cheers from San Fran

    Great video! But i have to put pressure on the front foot or backfoot?

    • @independentsurfer
      @independentsurfer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry if it wasn’t clear in the video.. as you pop up and head down the line, front foot pressure. So slightly more pressure on your front foot. As you initiate the bottom turn you need to shift your weight slightly back to the back foot to help pivot the board. keep the same pressure when initiating the turn and then during the turn pressure onto the front foot to help release the tale

    You tried leaning your shoulders into the whip of the turn. Yes that's good, but transfer that energy through your shoulders to your hips and it'll look much better and not as forced
