Good review.. I just test drove the WR-V and what I recommend to new drivers is, instead of reading comments about the car, it's looks and it's NVH, just check out the car yourselves. The car looks really good in person and the noice level isn't as crazy as many reviewers claim it is, at least in my opinion. I've been driving a wagonr for 10 years and the reason I didn't go for a proper compact SUV is to avoid the body rolls I endured in the wagonr. While the diesel WR-V isn't a very peaceful place to be in, it isn't exactly a nail-on-a-chalk-board irritating either. The acceleration was quite good, and I couldn't test out the 6th gear cuz the lady from the showroom seated next to me warned me of the speed sensing cameras as I had already crossed 90kmph very quickly. However, I would say that the lack of rear headrest is infuriating and the front armrest is not quite big to use either. Please note that the sunroof isn't exactly a useful feature in India, especially Kerala, but it looks cool from the outside and is easy to operate. I liked the dials changing color from green to blue and vice versa when shifting between normal and eco mode.. The touch screen's response time is also fast.. Before you judge the car, please please test drive it. It is overpriced sure, but I loved the car and booked it as soon as I found the NVH bearable..
For those confused between zdi+ of brezza gst has cut almost one lakh on the wrv which gives a tag of 11.45 OTR which is quite the same as brezza's top end if one is concerned about the price factor but still you get a fair conpetitor which is as tall and long and wide as the brezza, where the wrv feels lower is on the ground clearance which is 10mm lower than the 200 mm brezza and you get a sunroof and a bigger boot which can become a flatbed as well.Ive booked brezza post gst and am cancelling it to go fof the wrv and as far as the engine is concerned its punchier guys already own a city sv which Ive did 190 as top.The weight is also identical to the brezza weighing 1200 for the diesel top spec.if thats Suv look you're craving for you might stay good with the brezza or the ruler of the segment,The Ford Ecosport.!
Nandeesh Basshunter Hello bro. Finally chosen Nice option... Lot more are there in wrv. 1.5 punchi engine. Sunroof. Abs and ebd audio system. Driver seat adjustment Tellascope Steering Nice comfort seat. Super performance. Millage u will get. On top of that brand... Honda.
Sahil Kalwa ........bought wrv 1 month back only dude .....its good ....I mean better than vitara brezza in interiors and exteriors ......ty for ur suggestion anyway
This guy gives the most critical and fair vehicle reviews and treats the audience like adults. I think that the Wrv lacks the SUV feel which is what most customers in this segment aspire for. And, with just two variants and a petrol version that lacks start stop and no auto variant offering plus the premium pricing makes this another dead on arrival model from Honda. I'm a city owner and my loyalty to Honda is now gone for good.
Sidharth vinayak patankar and kartikeya singhee are my fav reviewers.... i was missing him on autocar...great to see him back again in front of camera!!
Thanks for a good review.Pretty disappointed at the lack of magic seats and the lack of height adjustable head rests. Honda should start respecting Indian buyers.
Madhu R Honda has chosen to reallocate the cost of Magic Seats, toward other features that they feel more buyers will use and enjoy. Their research showed most buyers weren't using the magic seats. But, I agree, those seats are clever! Pity!
Kartikeya Singhee you always have managaed to do the best reviews. I was looking out for your review on the other channel. Thankfully I came across your video here :) Please continue the good work.
Kartikeya Singhee thank you for giving us such precise and to the point reviews sir.. Was waiting for you to present the reviews on another channel, but just found out that you've started featuring in videos made in this one.. and also thank you Zigwheels for such great reviews #ZigWheels
pleasure to see u back sir.... please do a mega cross comparison test of the i20 ACTIVE, avventura, urban cross, brezza, S-cross, and EcoSport. that would give us a clear cut picture of the positioning of each of these crossovers in the market at present and help the customers to choose the best for themselves.
Hi, Heard a lot from reviews that the WR-V 1.2L petrol engine is not that peppy and needs to down shift gears while overtaking... I am using jazz 2011 model also.. Jazz also has the same issue but now I am used to it... Can somebody (who has driven 2011 jazz as well) tell me, Does the new WR-V still lag behind the 2011 jazz.. ??
in Google I was reading that wr-v's petrol version is not good for hilly areas then I am looking for its diesel version so is the diesel version good for hilly areas
Please suggest a petrol vehicle, hatchback or compact suv for a family of 5, which will be self driven, having driving comfort with a peppy engine throughout the range, under 10 lacs, having very good quality of plastic and interior. Will be mostly used in city so should be able to overtake at will when needed. Fuel efficiency should be more than 12 with AC. Three adults at the back seat should fit comfortably and boot space around 300 litres will do. Exclude Baleno because unfortunately I just can't stand the look. Manual or Automatic both welcome. Look forward to your suggestions. I am not in a rush to buy and happy to wait but need to start eyeing the right one.
Dear sir, i am using jazz-x 2012 model . Till now around 43000km only. Daily usage around 35km in city..this car i likes much. kindly suggest me similar but little more ground clearance best suited city driving petrol car around 8lac.Thank you
what is the avg of new titanium + diesel and titanium + at on highways ? also im confused between ford aspire and ecosport kindly suggest ? also if we seat 3 members on back seat ( which is very rare case with me ) which is more better
Hi there, i am planning on selling my dzire and looking for a 5 seater suv/crossover for family of 4.Main priority is high seating position, reliability,After sales service and fuel efficiency. I am confused between duster/terrano ,wrv and innova? please help me choose the right one. Should i wait for new upcoming cars? regards
sir i have a budget of 11 to 14 lacs I'm confused between honda city , wrv, ecosport and creta. there's no specific need of any specific type, I'm ok with sedan and suv both. please suggest me best car from these. i will be very thankful to you if you reply and help me in making a good choice.
+tanish dahuja The Honda City is the best buy for that budget, hands down. It is more refined than the other two, has better comfort, reliability and in a way better handling too.
+Yash Yadav The touchscreen system is also offered by the likes of the Active i20, Vitara Brezza and the Ford EcoSport. The sunroof is the WR-V's party trick, but that also bumps the price by a fair bit.
Naznin Karim hello Mam, WR-V if definitely very good for poor road surfaces. The petrol though isn't very peppy to drive. It's just about enough for a laid back style of commuting. Hope that helps.
Vasu Narendra would have to wait till 16th to see the prices. The Urban Cross is pretty good value though. And if you are looking for a petrol, that will be worth looking at.
i have heard that wrv has too much engine noise than vitara breeza and baleno in cabin....and music system lags alot plus no projector headlamps is it worth buying it in 11.25lakh top model diesel over breeza and baleno...
Thanks for the review . I bought WRV Diesel VX iDTEC and I feel made the right choice. It was a close shave for Vitara Brezza as it let me down on Interior Quality and 1.3 Lit Engine compare to 1.5 of WRV. The mileage in city noted till now in city condition was 19lit/km
bharath medala and thank you for tuning in here. We are (slowly) developing different kind of content on CarDekho too. Please do take a look and suggest anything you would like us to do. Thanks!
I am planning to buy a car for regular city use (15000 km per year running). I am confused between Honda WRV & Hyundai Creta. Hence I request you to share your choice with reasons for the same as to which one should I buy?
Hi @ Kartikeya thank you for this great review...it's always such a confusion when it's about getting a new car😥 Am between Eccosport, WR V , and Baleno... if you could suggest me a better option... mumbai city drive , looking for petrol...thank you so much in advance...
Hi ZIGWHEELS ..... I just want a request vidio from you of HONDA WRV & MARUTI VITARA BREZZA, can you plzz post that video...... it will be helpful for the people...
kartikeya plz tell about the driving experience of diesel variant at high speed like 130+ on highways and specialy about body roll. as i am a very keen driver and like to push hard the engine
if u r coming from scorpio then u might never notice body roll in this car it is stable and planted since its a monocoque, but if u r driving a hatch or a sedan daily then u might notice some.
Very good review. Dear I want to go for SUV type veh of 10 lakh segment. I have two questions. Should I go for Vitara Breeza or WR-V Diesel. Which one is better in clear terms. The other question is, will it be ideal to go for WR-V Petrol with a view to fit CNG later and get economy. I do not find any CNG veh of that nature in the market.
excellent review @Kartikeya. I just have a personal query. 1) engine to consider for normal drive in small town of around 300 kms per month. 2)pls explain diff btwn conventional light and projector light.
Sir am getting petrol WRV S edge edition at 8.40lc and VX at 9.70 About 80 to 90k discount on both model Am confused which one to go for and should I go for the petrol one as its a bit under powered??
Nice Review Mr. Singhee!. Sir I need your recommendation. Which care do you think is better at the WR-V Diesel variant's best price. WR-V or Ecosport. I only need it for daily in city traversing.
Harjaap Singh Grover Hola! if you will be travelling with 2-3 passengers and luggage - WR-V makes a lot of sense. I'd that isn't the top priority EcoSport gives a better overall experience.
Kartikeya Singhee thanks a lot sir :) I won't be travelling with passengers so ecosport it is. And sir don't you think that the cabin noise on WR-V is a bit too much?
I had finalised vitara brezza Vdi, even though my running is not that much as I love its looks.......but oflately I m reading about diesel engines being banned in future and most of the states in india won't allow diesel cars that are more than 10 years old. This means that diesel car resale value will take a hit. Considering this should i go for Wrv petrol or wait for brezza petrol or new ecosport petrol or go for Baleno Alpha petrol
Jasmeet .S. Khurana oh man! I don't think you need to worry about diesel ban especially if you plan to hold onto your vehicle. Also, how much usage would you have in a month? That will help decide things.
Sir, my average monthly usage wont exceed more than 400-500 kms. As i said, i had zeroed in " VITARA Brezza " becoz of its looks, Maruti reliability, resale value ........but this uncertainty of DIESEL Engine ban - is prompting me to wait for Brezza petrol.... and meanwhile i saw your review on WRV and thought of exploring this option as well. Meanwhile i read in car and Bikes - NDTV that brezza petrol is launching in april-17
Hi Kartikeya Singhee, missed your reviews. Good to see you back in action.Want to buy a diesel car and shortlisted Baleno, Brezza and WRV. Which one will be the best option to buy.
supreet arora hey! thank you for watching. I would vote for the Brezza! Feels right for city, and even longer runs. Although on city roads slightly stiff suspension setup takes some getting used to. Other than that👌
Nice Review Mr. Singhee. I want your opinion on a specific query of mine. Suggest me the best option within the price range of 7 Lac that is both comfy & peppy to drive long distances throughout the country e.g. Kolkata - Chennai/Bangaluru/Gurugram. Petrol variant may be considered as well. Presntly I drive a Esteem & Ritz.
Jayata Bose Hi sir, which city are you based in? using the car selector on Cardekho.com or zigwheels.com I found these options to be suitable - Ford Figo D, Ignis P&D, Ertiga p, it's a cross section of sorts. if any preferences, please let me know. will be able to better assist you.
Thank you very much for your reply. I am based out of Kolkata and I, myself drive down to places that too as I mentioned through the length and breath of the Country due to my business need. One more thing to ask....do you think it will be better to increase my budget to a range of 9-10 Lac to opt for a better one and wait for few upcoming Cars?
Kartikeyan welcome back after so long.! Can You please recommend the best option between Honda Amaze VX MT Diesel Ford EcoSport 1.5 TDCi Trend Plus (MT) Diesel Honda WRV i-DTEC S I require one for daily in city traveling of 34-40 kms.
That's the reason to stabilise balance, ground clearance has kept as 188. if springs are stiffer more, then driving comfort wont be there for long drive will gives you a bus comfort once you reach your destination you will end up with tired and body pain. for example you to make difference - stiff suspension car is (mahindra bolero) but the segment of bolero is for Adventure drive like hard and rough and tuf road as well the build quality also as per that. Breeza is more in Height and Width but the spacious is more in Wrv think about it. (Public) stiff spring and the ground clearance are set for the Wrv in a correct order. you are clearly hiding all the -ve from breeza and searching for the -ves in Wrv and you are clearly hiding all the best features are there in Wrv which is not there in your breeza like for this segment needs • Safety for all the variants (Airbags & Abs is not there in Ldi) • Body Quality and Interior premium quality. • Price is also good as compare 1.5 Engine categories ( in maruti - Ciaz & S-Cross also is using the same 1.2 (1248 Displacement) and Nexa is telling that they are into Premium Segment) • Sunroof is a Extraordinary mind blowing feature. • Speed assit for Gear box with 6-speed. • Millage In city 19-20 with Ac and in Highway 22-24 with Ac Note (with 1.5 Engine Performance is also Super) • Spacious interior good nee room, boot space superb AC flow. • Nice comfort and stability in highways. • Good Suspension or still if you want anything let me know i will send you another list of features. I am telling once again you think that you are a experts in car segment. please take your time and read the whole review of your video will come to know the real user reviews how many likes you have got for your Brezza and how much Dislikes. (Brezza isn't as efficient on the highway) is not acceptable for highway no one will buy a another car. with 1.5 engine.
Hello sir,I am current using honda brio from last 2 yrs .. I want to upgrade my car. options are honda WRV vx diesel . hyundai elite i20 asta option diesel and hyundai i20 active (s)variant diesel ..which one is best in diesel coz my frnd having elite i20 diesel asta ... This model is extremely silent and getting 20kmpl on highways... bt as a part of maintainane in HONDA diesel engines mejor servicing is upto 11k....and elite having upto 7 to 8k.... Please suggest me best car from above 3 mentioned.
+yogeshpanchwadkar The top-spec Elite i20 is what we'd recommend. The build quality is better, you get a touchscreen audio system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (WRV only has MirrorLink that has limited usability), Projector Headlamps and, most importantly, six airbags.
i totally disagree that it doesn’t look rouged from outside , it totally looks muscular... i don’t understand why u have to keep talking about Jazz n compare with it? is the video to let us know about the comparison? please be specific n explain the good n bad about the car rather then start comparing it.....
honda petrol wrv top end 10.40 lakhs is price brezza zdi + top end is for 13lakhs 2.5 lakhs diff which is better features are more in wrv than brezza please help

Thanks for a good review.Pretty disappointed at the lack of magic seats and the lack of height adjustable head rests. Honda should start respecting Indian buyers.

Very informative. I always liked ZigWheels over Autocar.
Keep it up!!

please do a mega cross comparison test of the
i20 ACTIVE,
avventura,
urban cross,
brezza,
S-cross, and
EcoSport.
that would give us a clear cut picture of the positioning of each of these crossovers in the market at present and help the customers to choose the best for themselves.
s DC7 Thanks man. Good to be back. That would be sweet. Let's see if that is possible! 🤗

+tanish dahuja The Honda City is the best buy for that budget, hands down. It is more refined than the other two, has better comfort, reliability and in a way better handling too.
ok thnx sir
today I test drove a Wrv petrol. It has a very quite engine. but below 2000 rpm it is dragging heavily.
Kartikeya Singhee great review man! 😎
Rikin Gosai thanks for watching! Please do let me know if any feedback.
nice review.. but i wonder if the music is trying too hard...
Giving a sun roof and 7 inch infotainment at this price is incredible
Don't u agree zig wheels
+Yash Yadav The touchscreen system is also offered by the likes of the Active i20, Vitara Brezza and the Ford EcoSport. The sunroof is the WR-V's party trick, but that also bumps the price by a fair bit.
sure , use your sun roof and enjoy when it gets 43deegrees
Planning to buy wrv diesel but concerned about the cabin noise .. is it too much to be a deal breaker
Please also tell how much is the noise more compared to its competitors
+S Kaushik Noise levels are better controlled compared to an Amaze, but it's still pretty noisy. Not really a deal breaker in our books, though.
it's too noisy.
Kartikeya I hav swift vdi 2008 m thinking bout petrol wrv he will it b power wise wen compared to my car n yes wat bout ride quality of car
Naznin Karim hello Mam, WR-V if definitely very good for poor road surfaces. The petrol though isn't very peppy to drive. It's just about enough for a laid back style of commuting. Hope that helps.
Ty n ne suggestion for a car till 12 lakh s in petrol with a good ground clearance n powerful engine
Naznin Karim sorry about the delay. Will revert shortly with options.
Kartikeya Singhee I appreciate tat is ciaz at good m thanks for honest suggestions
Naznin Karim just for my reference, do you travel on bad roads a lot? as in do you need extra ground clearance? please let me know. thank you.
hi kartikeya ....nice to see you after long time...kartik can you suggest please me which car is best to buy WR V or fiat urban cross...
Vasu Narendra would have to wait till 16th to see the prices. The Urban Cross is pretty good value though. And if you are looking for a petrol, that will be worth looking at.
Kartikeya Singhee thanks you bhai.....generally I love fiat cars and your suggestion helps me in getting out the confusion...
i have heard that wrv has too much engine noise than vitara breeza and baleno in cabin....and music system lags alot plus no projector headlamps is it worth buying it in 11.25lakh top model diesel over breeza and baleno...

I can't wait to see WRV in Indonesia
I am planning to buy a car for regular city use (15000 km per year running). I am confused between Honda WRV & Hyundai Creta. Hence I request you to share your choice with reasons for the same as to which one should I buy?
Can u please tell me what type of engine wrv is having BS3 or BS4?
Hi @ Kartikeya thank you for this great review...it's always such a confusion when it's about getting a new car😥 Am between Eccosport, WR V , and Baleno... if you could suggest me a better option... mumbai city drive , looking for petrol...thank you so much in advance...
which is better wrv or brezza top end??
wrv dude of course
Hi ZIGWHEELS ..... I just want a request vidio from you of HONDA WRV & MARUTI VITARA BREZZA, can you plzz post that video...... it will be helpful for the people...
is sunroof standard for all models
tarun reddy No
kartikeya plz tell about the driving experience of diesel variant at high speed like 130+ on highways and specialy about body roll. as i am a very keen driver and like to push hard the engine
Richie Singh engine is good. but it's not a car that you like to drive hard. has a soft suspension setup.
I am confused between i20 active and wrv. Which one will be the best in features, mauntance cost, build quality and mileage
SHANJIETH v.v Hi, we hope to give you a definitive answer soon. which engine are you looking at?
SHANJIETH v.v you can purchase wrv good and excellent vechile
Manjeet Dandona thanks
can u please do a video on how bad a body roll can be.. I have seen a Scorpio toppling over because it was zigzagging @ 60-70
if u r coming from scorpio then u might never notice body roll in this car it is stable and planted since its a monocoque, but if u r driving a hatch or a sedan daily then u might notice some.
Hmm .. I guess all these cars should be tested on the fast reverse and turn test to know if they topple over or not.. if no then safe else not
There should be a rule that a cars height should not be more than its width
Very good review. Dear I want to go for SUV type veh of 10 lakh segment. I have two questions. Should I go for Vitara Breeza or WR-V Diesel. Which one is better in clear terms. The other question is, will it be ideal to go for WR-V Petrol with a view to fit CNG later and get economy. I do not find any CNG veh of that nature in the market.
YASIN K if space is critical WR-V for sure. it is very spacious. Brezza gives more of SUV like flavour and better drive experience.
YASIN K there is no suv comes under 20 lac.
YASIN K wrv best and excellent vechile
Rajesh G yes ford ecosport price is not so much
Rajesh G ford ecosport not so much cost

Ty
excellent review @Kartikeya.
I just have a personal query.
1) engine to consider for normal drive in small town of around 300 kms per month.
2)pls explain diff btwn conventional light and projector light.
Divya Tejeswar Reddy sir, a petrol engine with good torque is just right for that.
Awesome video - a crosshatch. Personally its the first time I'd heard the term
WRV 1.2 petrol or Ecosports 1.5 petrol, budget 10-11 lac, please suggest...
thats a nice review there. good attention to details , i would like to see a comparo between jazz and ecosport
thanks cheers!
does it hav aux input??
Sir am getting petrol WRV S edge edition at 8.40lc and VX at 9.70
About 80 to 90k discount on both model
Am confused which one to go for and should I go for the petrol one as its a bit under powered??

Richie Singh no sir.
wht about the safety rating ?
Ritinkar Sardar designed to meet upcoming crash test standards. Frontal, offset, side and rear tests done. No rating as per these systems.
Which SUV buy eco sports S or honda wrv diesel?
Wrv diesel
with 1.2litre engine in petrol what honda is expecting from heavy priced wrv?
Better reviews than Autoportal
Hi Kartikeya Singhee, missed your reviews. Good to see you back in action.Want to buy a diesel car and shortlisted Baleno, Brezza and WRV. Which one will be the best option to buy.
supreet arora hey! thank you for watching. I would vote for the Brezza! Feels right for city, and even longer runs. Although on city roads slightly stiff suspension setup takes some getting used to. Other than that👌
pls post comparison video between wr-v nd breeza!!!
ABHAY narang yes sir. noted.
Kartikeya Singhee thnks sir..!!! ur channel is doing a great work..!☺☺
ABHAY narang Thanks again!
does it have leather seata
Only fabric seats are offered even on the top-end variant.
karthikeya good job as usual. To put words as soft as one could. By the way u also associated with ZigWheels apart from Autocar.
karthickkb. raja hey! I am now associated with ZigWheels and CarDekho. Please do check out our work here. Thank you.
Kartikeya Singhee . Best wishes for your works. yes I ll check all your new videos.
Jayata Bose Sir, that would be great. in which case definitely take a look at the Ford EcoSport.
The instant is saw karthikeya i clicked that SUBSCRIBE button 😬
Vineeth Anand Broski! Too kind!
Kartikeyan welcome back after so long.! Can You please recommend the best option between
Honda Amaze VX MT Diesel
Ford EcoSport 1.5 TDCi Trend Plus (MT) Diesel
Honda WRV i-DTEC S
I require one for daily in city traveling of 34-40 kms.
Nishchaybhandula sir, for your kind of usage petrol engine would make more sense.
Nice Review!
Rajnish Bhatia thank you sir.
(Public)
stiff spring and the ground clearance are set for the Wrv in a correct order. you are clearly hiding all the -ve from breeza and searching for the -ves in Wrv and you are clearly hiding all the best features are there in Wrv which is not there in your breeza like for this segment needs
• Safety for all the variants (Airbags & Abs is not there in Ldi)
• Body Quality and Interior premium quality.
• Price is also good as compare 1.5 Engine categories ( in maruti - Ciaz & S-Cross also is using the same 1.2 (1248 Displacement) and Nexa is telling that they are into Premium Segment)
• Sunroof is a Extraordinary mind blowing feature.
• Speed assit for Gear box with 6-speed.
• Millage In city 19-20 with Ac and in Highway 22-24 with Ac Note (with 1.5 Engine Performance is also Super)
• Spacious interior good nee room, boot space superb AC flow.
• Nice comfort and stability in highways.
• Good Suspension
or still if you want anything let me know i will send you another list of features.
Is honda WR-V petrol underpowered?
It's ok for city driving, but lacks punch on the highway/on inclines. It will struggle with a full passenger load.
anyone pls leave reply for top end diesel variant?????
whats de color of de car...?
Like your reviews but background music(noise) is really not required at all.
Hello sir,I am current using honda brio from last 2 yrs .. I want to upgrade my car. options are honda WRV vx diesel . hyundai elite i20 asta option diesel and hyundai i20 active (s)variant diesel
..which one is best in diesel coz my frnd having elite i20 diesel asta ...
New wrv bs6 reviews plz .
Guys Ford Ecosport or WRV ?
maintain the audio levels
correct the colors jump in over all video, it's look unprofessional
+Work in Pictures Feedback acknowledged (y)
Work in Pictures know any video editors in Pune?
Kartikeya Singhee you only find best editors at mumbai not in pune
why u left Autocar?
Is this video a review of WR-V or rather a comparison with the jazz. You should have captioned it more smartly.
bhai audio and video is out of sync in over all bytes
lol "square and upright", understood the Tuv reference.
I travel between Mumbai n Pune a lot n sometimes Panchgani
i totally disagree that it doesn’t look rouged from outside , it totally looks muscular... i don’t understand why u have to keep talking about Jazz n compare with it? is the video to let us know about the comparison? please be specific n explain the good n bad about the car rather then start comparing it.....
honda petrol wrv top end 10.40 lakhs is price
brezza zdi + top end is for 13lakhs

Kartikeya Singhee is sunroof standard
Sanjeev Maheshwari no it isn't.
