Wow. This game looks and sounds really good.
Hated the 1500M at 5:58 as a kid. You'd blister the shit out of your hand for 5 minutes rocking the joystick back and forth as fast as possible.
then you played wrong, the first 1300m it was enough to shake the joystick just medium, only the last 200m it was necessary to go full power.

My guess is, like most 'olympic' games, he just got to the minimum required score, and stopped there.

Within the possibilities the runner tested, it's impossible to clear the next highest bar setting, so he took three scratches to end the event ASAP.
