That 1991 Cardinals team had arguably the hardest schedule in NFL history: They played only 2 games against teams that finished with losing records (Rams and Patriots), both in September And 91 New England was an all time overachiever, so basically you could say their only breather on the schedule all season was the Rams………. in week 1!
The Cardinals just went down the toilet after this loss. IT's amazing how the Cardinals couldn't win Washington especially under Joe Gibbs. The best shot the Cardinals had in the Joe Gibbs era was in 1984 to decide the division. Whoever won was gong to the playoffs and whoever lost was staying home. Still in 1991, the Redskins put it all together after a blowout 45-0 against the Lions, a close 33-31 win in Dallas, and then an easier game in this game.
They made it look so easy, I have to admit those Redskins teams from that time really spoiled me

REDSKINS forever
That was a magical season. Three shutouts at home.I miss the team so much.
We’ll bring more of this season back soon. Have improved the remastering process considerably, will be worth the wait!
Nice! 🎉 102-0 in 3 home games to start that year 🤣
@@KevHunter-q9u 2 of them against 10+ win teams
Looks great! thanks.
Didnt the NFL state this was like in the top 10 of all time Super Bowl teams
I've seen articles where they put the '91 'Skins the best all time Super Bowl team.
Joe Gibbs and Bobby Beathard........
Made most complete teams in all phases in most difficult division for yrs. Just unreal football teams

And somehow Wilber Marshall did not make the Pro Bowl that year. 🤷♂
He said a team with a punter at QB was going to "upset" one of the greatest teams in nfl history 😂
It’s too bad for Joe bugle left Washington not much went well for him as far as coaching
I wonder how stupid Randy Cross felt after the skins ni only won but SHUTOUT the Cardinals by 30+ points
