The fact that Otama lost her parents under Kaido and Orochi shows that Orochi himself didn't care about the well-being of the Kurazumi clan, he simply used the persecution his clan experienced to gaslight and belittle others as his attempt to justify his authoritarian rule.
Because of this, the suffering of the Kurozumis continued, only this time, everyone on Wano shared the suffering.
Otama shared no targeted persecution, and was a victim of one of her own kin, and was instrumental in the defeat of Orochi and Kaido. Otama is practically the same as Yamato, only Otama didn’t know she was fighting against her kin.

I think Tama's situation shows that orochi never cared about the kurozumi clan despite what he said. If he really wanted justice for them he would look for lost members of his clan to raise them from their situation

With the familial themes of One Piece being really played up Post-Timeskip (with literally every arc containing prominent children characters, Wano being no exception) and Oda using these themes to explore ideas such as the relationship between parent and child, (a lot), I can totally see Oda making Orochi a father after all he did it with Kaido as well. This was a really eye opening theory Randy ty! #TTK

I also believe the kibi dango will work on normal zoans, because just think about it, it's a "natural" occuring devil fruit, why would its power only work on smiles which are not supposed to exist if not for vegapunk/caesar. If it doesn't work on zoans then naturally it doesn't have any power at all. Devil fruits are supposed to be OP, remember even oden couldn't break the barrier barrier fruit. But Morj's theories are always wrong, like Morj theorised that Luffy would defeat both Kaido and Big Mom in one arc, he theorised that Wano was the end of the Yonko saga instead of Elbaf, and he believes smoker will be a Strawhat.
If you combine it Morj's theory on Smoker it gets even crazier.

That is such a well crafted theory, it makes a lot of sense. But I could see something along the lines of, Tama using her power on one of the ancient zoan users. Only to find out that it won't work on kaido, since he is either a mythical or a real dragon and not regarded as a beast. And Oda pulls something out from under us.
Thanks Jeppe! If Kaido is a real dragon, then by the very nature of being an animal it should work on him. But there's always the chance Oda surprises us, and those are the best surprises!

Great theory!! Another possible parallel is that Tama "died" early in the arc by Kaido, and Orochi seams to have "died" by Kaido. Orochi is probably alive and when he comes back the lineage is revealed??? Anyways, love your videos keep up the amazing work.

It makes perfect thematic sense that the longstanding grudge between the Kurozumi and Kozuki would end by the friendship of the son of Oden and daughter of Orochi. Like if this turns out to be true, Ran D. Troy is the freaking GOAT of One Piece theorists imo.

Before I even watch this video it actually makes sense before I’ve even pressed play. Forget the purple hair. I’ve always wondered why her and Ace meeting each other is soo focused on. It makes sense if you consider her being a Kurozumi, because it would mean both her and Ace were being persecuted from birth due to the blood running through their veins. Especially with this theme in Wano where you can’t choose your parent(more so father)

Even if you end up being completely wrong (which I find hard to happen; I mean, you may not be right about everything, but I bet you will be right about some details, at the very least), this was a very entertaining watch. You picked a lot of little pieces that seemed to make no sense as a unit, and built this intricate puzzle that makes a lot of sense. Kudos for this great theory! Very well thought out and perfectly explained.

I definitely think this is a valid argument. The only thing I am unsure of is if Kaido is indeed a dragon, does the Dango work on him? Are dragons different than other animals.

I would love to see an update on this theory with what we know now, its still holds up and would be VERY tematic if she was a kurosumi AND he new shogun, it would end two prejudices in the land of Wano at the same time. But now that momo got aged up, i think its pretty cut and dry that he will be the new shogun, tama can still e a strawhat tho...
On Chapter 1051 is ha been confirmed that the Parents of Tama were named "Kurozumi". Also Oda Confirmed it on recent SBS. Her real name is Kurozumi Tama
I've seen this before and I already agree. I think that Tama as well as Zoro are both Kurozumi's and will play a role in changing Wano's perceptions of the Kurozumi. I also used to think that Tama would tame Kaido because it's the perfect conclusion to his arc but now I think that Luffy doing it with Conqueror's Haki is more fitting. Either way Kaido's arc ends with him getting tamed.
I've never seen Zoro as a Kurozumi, that's wild. A Shimotsuki definitely, a Kurozumi would be a crazy twist. I'm definitely one of if not the person who brought this idea to life via reddit many many months ago (receipts in the vid)

Still on the fence regarding TTK, but absolutely sold on Tama being a Kurozumi. Tenguyama being Sukiyaki is a wild speculation I've never heard before but would explain so much, also creates ANOTHER potential shotgun to rule Wano while Momo travels with the Straw Hats, which I am convinced is going to happen.
If Kaido gets tamed by Tama, I could see A LOT of people dropping the series, no joke... The powerscaling types primarily. It would for sure not be the most popular way to bring down such a major villain, but there is HUGE narrative precedence for it and it's possibility really cannot be ignored. Personally, it's far from being my first choice for Kaido's downfall but it all depends on execution in the end.
It's personally not my first choice either Schnoz, but Oda's certainly done the due diligence if he wanted to go that route. And with Big Mom there too, it makes sense to be able to get rid of one easier than the other and focus on Big Mom. Even if it's a temporary thing with Kaido.
Yamato has to become a strawhat, just so when they meet with the red hair Pirates and when he introduces himself as Oden, Shanks can laugh and go "haven't heard that name in a while"

@@RandyTroy Thanks I thought about it for a while, with Yamato calling himself Oden, and people actually knowing who Oden is, Yamato could actually pick up whatever bounty Oden originally had back in the day, with people hearing that Oden returned and is apart of the Straw hats

It seema O-Tama and Momo both represent the Japanese folk hero Momotaro, like O-Tama's ablity to tame animals. Momo is too young to rule Wano so he might be aged 20 years using Shinobu's mature mature fruit.
Momo is certainly the physical representation, and the community believed him to be the full manifestation upon his introduction to the story, but then Oda gave us Tama and well...

After watching this for the 2nd time. Something clicked and i realised that even Big mom has a plotline with tama too.. Big mom genuinely wanted to give tama n the villagers the red bean soup.. if i know one piece every plotline is very significant.. n somehow this could be the twist oda adds to the monotaro story. Just another clue to help ur theory
