They always get cleaned before they’re sold in the second hand market. Question is, was it cleaned in a manner which would not cause mid-long term damage to the engine?

Well said man! This color blue is absolutely freakin gorgeous! I am so sick of people thinking ferraris need to be red, even the hyper cars like the La Ferrari and the F90 and the 812 super fast. Yes the red does look very nice and classic on those cars but especially the GT models like this and the 812 the Tour de France is by far the best color over anything else. There is a new color called “electrico blue” for the new Ferrari SF90 stradale hybrid that looks insane as well. Off topic a little; one small spec I have loved over recent years that Ferrari has done well is putting the led shift lights on the steering wheel. It looks so awesome and that’s where it should be instead of mixed in with all the other lights in the speedometer area.

Waking up and stepping in an icon like this to drive away is just everything a man can dream of. I can very much relate to just appreciating the car the way it has been made. driven one 599 before a few years ago for 3 days, did 330km/h, great GT, but i had huge respect for it on the mountain roads. Its like the rear end is wanting to kill you at the slightest mistake, so you do need to respect the car, i had this feeling like it was light on the rear... other than that the engine sound.. i spent days not going to sleep well because it was like, i need to buy it now....
I seen one of these in person yday in Scotland and what a piece of machinery it is when up close and personal…so happy for you guys keep on doing your thing the contents amazing. 💪🏼

Great choice and great spec ! I totally agree with the blue for the large GTs from Ferrari. I would choose the exact same colour combination for a 599, F12, 812 and so on.
What a subtle and beautiful car. One of my favorite Ferrari's! And that massive front-mounted V12! Coupled with a useable trunk and practicality, it's just perfect! I'm sure it's a great car to road trip and drive regularly.
Absolutely stunning in Tour de France blue!!! Now surprisingly HGTE from factory all have White Rev counters - yours is yellow… have you checked on the purchase order that HGTE was ordered from new and not retrofitted?
In my honest opinion, the 599 GTB, F40 and the LaFerrari are the most beautiful cars Ferrari has ever made.. The 599 GTB is my second favorite after the F40. Just an outstanding car!
