Nothing will beat that factory town abomination he made.
They need to revive Afterlife, because the only city builder NL's road network would fit in would be one that takes place in literal hell.
such a good game: i'll always remember the tower of grassy fields that you monch on as a cow in heaven.
I have so much nostalgia for that game. I've purchased it a minimum of three times because my physical game disc walked off with people I let borrow it. I keep hoping someone with the skills to revive the series or make an homage series sets their hearts on it.
Today I saw that Block'Hood is on Sale and I checked out if there is any gameplay/first impression style video on TH-cam. I henceforth found "Northernlion Tries Block'Hood" from 3 years ago. I liked it and bought the game. I thought neat, before I'll start I'm gonna eat dinner and watch the 6 P.M timeslot, as I usually do and what do I hear NL talk about? Frigging Block'Hood! Full circle.

That game does look really fun to be honest, looks like not-cold Frostpunk
To the developers: the game looks good but the UI could use some better contrast here and there (the red and green on blue doesn't look so good), and some elements could be shuffled slightly to fit better (i.e. red pause text could be a bit lower).
Also, the paths could probably connect if you have e.g. 3+ connected tiles to make a plaza of sorts.

And for some reason I don't believe the thumbnail is from a city NL designed, not sure why.

I was curious of this game when I saw it on epic. Id like to see how the interplanetary stuff goes, ive seen plenty of games with the village sim stuff, I wanna see those spaceship era stuffs!

How did you think the glowing tiles where you're placing your buildings was the road and not the paths in the middle that are clearly roads eggman?
Dang I wanted you to play till at least you realised that you'd blocked yourself off from accessing the ship to repair it.
Northernlion - the brand that strategy and rogue lite devs love, but walking sim and story driven experience devs hate!

i'm a little nervous watching nl play city builders after frostpunk, i mean, how would i know if he's completely ignoring something super important and handicapping himself whilst acting like completely everything is normal.
