Unless you’re 100lb, I can’t see any reason for under powered ebike. 25 years ago a 5” travel “freeride” bikes were close to 50lb without a motor assist, we made it all the way to the top, and nobody complained about nimbleness on the downhill. These days we get 7”-8” travel with full power motor, and battery that can take us for 6-7 hours in the mountains with the same weight.
Where you getting 6-7 hours with a full Powered ebike? I get 2.5 if i go more than 4k elevation change and 3.5 on easy riding. 20 miles hard riding or 40 easy riding
Pivot Shuttle LT, EP8 motor and Darfon battery. They get good battery management. I can go 4500ft on boost. ECO theory number is 150 miles with the standard setting.
@@nintense1 oh cool. I have the trek rail 9.8 750battery and Bosch motor. I’m always on turbo because it seems like eco doesn’t get much more overall miles but haven’t tested that enough to know.
Not a 4 bar rear suspension. It’s split pivot. 😅
