    Different snowboards will handle certain terrain better than others, so pick the right tool for the job.

    So many memories, I used to go to Rusutsu every year with my wife before we had kids. Almost saw sasa bush when I went; though you have powder, overall levels are low.
    My tips: Watch better riders and try to emulate them. In powder don't put your weight too much in the back because you'll lose control, or your can also set your bindings back a bit to avoid submarining. Not in powder, I like to have my weight a bit more in front for a more aggressive freeride.

    Practice practice practice...then find some spots that are just outside your comfort zone...not out of your league...just a toe over the line...and then practice some more...then push yourself some more

    IM IN NISEKO RIGHT NOW!!! I haven’t seen you though because I mainly stay on the green and red runs. I’ve been here for around a week and today was really sunny but recently the cloud has been blocking it. Hope you see this. (I’m from Western Australia)

    Sick video as always. I'm new to snowboarding and all the videos I've been watching are by you guys. I live in Japan just south of Hiroshima so unfortunately there is no snow like there is up there. Pretty bad season this year from what I'm hearing.. Stay safe up there!

    Great video, looks unreal. "The steering toward what you look at" is a good advice.
    Also Kevin maybe re-visit your stance width. It looks too narrow. Uncomfortable to watch narrow.

    What do you prefer for all mtn rocker or camber and why? Trying to get my first board soon seeing as I'm progressing so much this season

    • @edmontonbmx
      @edmontonbmx 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I prefer camber for all mountain riding. Lots of pop for jumps, better for carving. Lots of boards have a mix. Rocker in the nose and tail to help float in powder and prevent edge catches when turning, camber between your feet for pop and carving. I like the feel of these as well.
      Rocker is more for park or a board purely for powder. Good for doing presses, preventing edge catches, and floating in pow. It depends on what you plan to ride most, but I'd say stick to camber or hybrid camber for all mountain.
