I think when she was just a lady in waiting they did like each other, but with Anne being the cause of her marriage ending I don’t see Catherine being able to like her from then on
all these four women were so strong, the lyrics fit so well for them. and your editing...seriously, how is it always so good and beautiful?! it's pure perfection!! the parallel 0:280:30 between katherine and mary learning of their mother's death is so sad 1:12 gave me chills!! with isabella shouting and then katherine appearing on "written in stone" and 1:56 when mary says "am i not my mother's daughter?", it's so powerful! and thank you so so much for the shoutout to my video, you're too kind!
(sorry for the darn late reply) I just had to also add their daughters, it didn't feel right just editing Anne and Catherine djgkfdjgh honestly, Isabella shouting 'guard yourself' is one of my favourite parts ahhh thank you
I love this so much! You did this amazingly strong and unlucky women justice! So glad that you decided to vid all four of them since Mary and Catherine get not enough attention in these videos in my opinion. I mean I love Elizabeth and Anne but the other two are amazing too! Also I like that you chose Kate over Rachel (Reign) as Elizabeth
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THIS IS SO PERFECT. I am so happy to see a video about my four favourite women of all time. I don't get the fandom's obsession to tear themselves apart over that stupid Catherine vs. Anne rivalry like Henry wasn't the one who shat over both of them AT THE SAME FREAKING TIME (Catherine and Anne died the same year just like two or three months apart). On another note it's a little sweet that once you consider their looks Mary actually looked a little more like Anne and Elizabeth a little more like Catherine than their respective mothers, I noticed you making those cross parallels and I am living for it. Let me save this to my favourites and come back every so often 😥 So angry I can't give you more than a like 💖
On a final note I'm really glad even though you used the Elizabeth movies with Cate Blanchett you didn't add scenes of that Mary I, I really hated the way she was portrayed. Extremely unfairly not to mention inaccurately; she wasn't old or bloated nor was she one snapped nerve away from a mental breakdown 24/7. Clearly she would be under a lot of stress and she /was/ a harsh ruler (not like her father, sister or even little Edward in his short reign were any different, she was actually rather lenient by comparison) but she was made of stone and more than likely cried in private. Like Sarah Bolger shows us in the Tudors ❤
- Queen Catherine of Aragon of Spain & England - Queen Anne Boleyn of England - Queen Mary Tudor of England - Lady Margaret Beaufort of England - Queen Isabella the Catholic of Spain - Queen Elizabeth Tudor of England
Amazing editing! Thank you for making this. Umm is there a second season of the spanish princess? There are parts I can not remember so I guess I forgot them, but I would be glad if the second season came out.
1:50 who is she? because I can't think about any other daughter of two "greatest monarchs" than Elizabeth Bonifacia - daughter of Hedwig and Vladislaus - two great monarchs, both crowned as kings, rulers of Poland, Lithuania and other lands. But that girl isn't her because Elizabeth died as a baby
ANNE STRONG?¡ HAHAHA SHE WAS ONLY THE TYPICAL FEMALE BROKEHOME TO TAKE POWER FROM A MAN..UFFFF VERY ORIGINAL AND FEMINIST STRATEGY...KATHERINE EVEN GO TO THE WAR LEADING TROOPS AGAINS THE KING OF SCOTLAND WHEN HENRY WAS IN FRANCE, KATHERINE WAS THE FIRST WOMAN AMBASSADOR IN EUROPE, KATHERINE INTRODUCE WOMEN EDUCATION IN COURT LIKE HER MOTHER DID IN SPAIN,KATHERINE DEFENDS HER DAUGHTER RIGTHS TO THE THRONE, KATHERINE CONFRONT HER HUSBAND IN COURT, WHAT DID ANNE? SEDUCE HIM AND FORNICATE WITH HIM AH ALSO INTRODUCE FRENCH FASHION....YES A REAL "HEROINE"...PFFFFFFFFFF
damn calm down for a second. in this house we can appreciate each woman for what she did and not pit them against each other when the main thing having caused the problem was the MAN in their lives lmao.
omg i didn't mean you!! there was someone else that commented in all caps but has seemed to deleted their comment after i replied haha! (okay i can still see it but it vanished in the youtube studio so idk if you saw it) don't worry i totally agree with you and thank you for your initial comment!
It doesn't make any sense. Catherine (51) and Ann (29) died both in 1536, Elizabeth was then 3 years old, Mary was a teenager and she was shunned from the court. It does not fit.
Growing Strong100 but that means Herny wasn’t a true King, when is mother was illegitimate and that on the other hand mean that Mary wasn’t a true Queen because her father was illegitimate
Most European queens were not a princess' but noblewomen. Both Anne and Margaret ( who was not a queen but the mother/grandmother etc of one )were noble, with both having royal legitimate blood ( Anne descended from Edward I, and Margarets father was legitimized as the son of Edward III officially, even by the pope ) and sister in law to Henry Vi. These shows are for entertainment. Especially Spanish Princess, which is VERY loosely based on fact. Don't get your history from them. Do the research.
McGregorGirl Was legitimize but barred from the line of succession basically Henry vii claimed the way William The conqueror did. He strengthen that claim by marrying Elizabeth of York. But personally honestly nobody really cared about Henry and they didn’t really like him they just cared that it was Yorks blood still continuing. As for Anne She is. She is also from France descendants just like Henry VII and Henry viii.
Being a princess is merely a title Titles doesnt implies having power , but yes Catherine was the rightful QUEEN of england not because of where she comes from but because she was Henry's legal wife
Four badass women. Sure, they've all made mistakes but no one can deny that Mary and Elizabeth got their strength from their mothers.
Oh, yeah, they are both their respective mothers' daughters!
Katherine, Anne, Mary, and Elizabeth
Women who made history
DuchessDeGhent she’s just a given!
Wu Zetian too
Cleopatra too

Love how you used Anne & Catherine and their daughters. It made me wish Anne and Catherine could have been friends. Great video :)
It is usually forgotten that they were once great friends ik it’s hard to believe but it’s true:)
@@mariannerose3538 Catherine admired Anne and liked her well, and Anne thought Catherine would very kind and a good mistress.

Tudor is just a dynasty of leading women, change my mind.
Most famous member of it got rid of his most powerfull wives.
God that last clip was cute!! It really shows that Mary and Elizabeth were friends for a long time
I'm sure during the time when their brother lived and both knew they would never been queen it likely was
Definitely they were siblings as well as with Edward, I think Edward’s reign and religious issues caused problems
The family drama between anne boylen and elizabeth 1 and cathrine of aragon and mary tudor was real.
I still love when Elizabeth walked away in that scene. Awesome.
I love how they portayed the Catherine of Aragon in the Spanish princess , the actor has the same features as the real one ❤❤
Look at all those strong women Henry poised with his ego.

Small correction, Mary was queen consort of Spain too via her marriage with Philip.
I think you forgot about Hürrem Sultan, Mihrimah Sultan and Mahpeyker Kösem Sultan.
Omg this is beyond words... i loved it so much ! Perfection 🙏
My two heroes💕
I love this so much!
Fun fact, they both had to wait 6/7 years for Henry

The Tudors, The Spanish Princess and the movies Elizabeth and Elizabeth the Golden Age

Qwq catherine... Why u are beheading with anne beloyn..
Catherine was the true Queen Anne was iconic but no
Axel i would say both were great Queens
Axel I love how Anne Boleyn was portrayed and it’s horrible how people tried to erase her, but you’re right. Catherine had a true claim to the throne
Queen Anne Boleyn, a real queen, like you or not
3:16 is that Adelaide kane
That is Laoise Murray, if I am correct!
who is that in 3:08???
Mary Tudor (the tudors)
What TV shows/movies are these clips from?
The Tudors, The Spanish princess, Elizabeth
Catherine was a true Princess , Anne Boleyn , Margaret Beaufort , mere illegitmate descendants and courtiers
