@@quattroconcept4 It's different. It sounds like a generic European V10, to be fair. The Viper's V10, it's louder and the pipe resonance is more raw, like a V8, specially when slowing down and downshifting.
I remember the early GTS-R's having manual gearboxes, imagine doing that for 24hrs! A brutal legend and my all time favourite GT car, awesome video as always😍
I sat in one of the red ones one night, when no one was looking. I think it was #92. There were lights around, but it was dark enough in the car that I couldn't find the latch to open the door from the inside. I had to reach out the window and find the exterior door handle. A friend told me it was just as well I didn't find a latch on the inside. With my luck it would have been an emergency release that would drop the whole door off the car.
Either the arm rest is in the wrong place or the shifter is the wrong shape and length. The fact he has to flip his right elbow constantly doesn't seem right....
Justin Bell mentioned this once the Original GTS-Rs had a really annoying gear shift placement, on longer stints it really starts to hurt, but on the other hand he said it gave a unique and memorable feel that he remembers fondly because it was just " Viper things "
One of them(the one at Mugello) has a box shape cut out at the grille on the front as well as a wider wing and the diffuser protrudes rearward more (might even be slightly bigger as well) The other (red car at Spa) has the streetcars grille a bit narrower wing and somewhat smaller diffusor. Which is the GT1 or the GT2 not sure, but there are differences
Nothing like the raw sound of a viper V10
The Murciélago R-GT sounds 10 times better.
@@quattroconcept4 He never said it sounded good lol. The Viper V10 is probably one of the worst sounding V10.

@@thatfunnykekguy6377 why bother? Anyone who thinks a Viper sounds bad isn't worth the effort.

This was my money-maker car in GT4

Pues se hizo por decadas manejar con palanca de cambios.
Huge left leg 🦵
Man the team oreca viper was my favorite car to drive in GT3 A-spec
Same here! When I bought my GTS a few years ago it had to be none other than the red with white stripes.
Absolute core memories with that car struggling a bit against the 787b 😂
It brought back memories of my childhood. I loved them at Le Mans in those days. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching :)
I used to race this model in Forza motorsport, just nostalgic remember that afternoons playing in my old Xbox.
Still one of the most beautiful and best sounding GT race cars imo
Thank you for this. Love seeing and hearing the old GTS-R's. What a glorious sound.
Thank you for watching!
Die geilste Schlange der Welt.
Einfach nur geil Viper 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
What can be better in car guy life than driving Viper on Spa. 😍
The deceleration and downshifts are raw!
Viper V10 is just 👌
I'm a Viper fanatic, especially the 96 and 97 GTS. It's rare enough to see a Viper here in Pennsylvania, and my heart skips a beat when I see one.
Some of the best captured onboard audio of the GTS-R V10 !!
I might be a little biased, as im a lifetime mopar fan, but that is the best sounding v10 ever made.
Tat shifter plate is raw AF!
Was just enjoying this car in a sim, very glad to hear and see it here!
Bellissimo!🐍
Love that sound
The Panoz of this era had such a deep off beat thunder. It echoed around Road Atlanta
Ford v8
Can't blame him for tightening those belts up.
Just SOOO goooood! ❤
Iconic!

Here we gooo
Always found the Vipers sound really dull, but the cars look absolutely fantastic

I mean, the regular street car was fairly tight inside. I can't imagine adding a cage and moving the seating position helped that much

Aahh my obsession car, I'm willing to sell my soul to demon only to get this car
Laguna Seca
The childhood dream car tho 😍🤩
Keep your Mclarens people
How can you tell the difference between the GTS-R GT1 and the GTS-R GT2?

Bummer manufacturers are done w/ V10s.
Usa
Dodge not chrysler
Viva la dodge
its dodge viper. not chrylser
In Europe it was under the Chrysler name because Dodge wasn’t sold over there.
@@DanimalZ32 Plus Oreca 🇫🇷 and Reynard 🇬🇧 built it. GTSR is nothing like dodge made viper in 🇺🇸.
IT'S A DODGE NOT A CHRYSLER YOU DINGUS
In Europe they don't have Dodge branded vehicles so they were sold as Chrysler Vipers you dingus.
