Oh for sure this gigantic almost twenty feet long car would be a floating cruiser down the roads like on a cloud. So beautiful. Thanks much for lovin' it.
Simply wow!! This Electra 225 convertible is big enough to have it's own zip code. This beauty has it all, the very popular color for the time period & of course the dual white striped tires, even the spare!!! Gas was cheap & these big boats drank a lot of it but the car was so comfortable we didn't care about the mileage!!! Thanks for sharing this exciting video!!! 👍👍🙂
Couldn’t do much about the fuel mileage except put gas in it when it got low and keep your foot out of the carburetor. And pray for a gas war between competitors. 😅
I absolutely love this big beautiful Buick boat . What a pleasure finding this at a car show and sitting pretty all by itself. The size of this Buick blew me away, forgetting just how huge some cars could be back then. Man, I love this car. Glad you do also Chris and many thanks.
I had a 68 Olds 98 that had about this same body style. And yes it was a dream to drive and more than enough power and interior room. I traded for a 76 Olds 98 and it was even nicer. I’m like my Dad, he always had big Buicks or Olds. Yes it was a great time for being a car guy. I saw the best of them when brand new.
@@TomSpeaks-vw1zp Great car ownership you had Tom. Yes, those days of big cars with plenty of power and interior room are my favorite era also. That 68 Olds 98 and 76 Olds 98 were good big cars the kind I always am fond of. I use to visit car dealers back then and took in all the great styling of any new car. It always had me lusting for those big luxurious models. Thanks for telling of your experience Tom.
@@55lincoln You’re welcome & thanks for your kind words. I’ve had many cars during my 82 years. I’m glad I found your channel that helps me remember & share some of my car interest & experiences, of which there are many. I appreciate your interest and our new found friendship 55lincoln.
It seems to have bee well taken care of most likely always garaged I'm sure. It looks brand new. What a beautiful cruiser. Thanks so much John for enjoying.
No, sorry, this Buick was on display at a car show and was not for sale. But, glad you enjoyed this. I certainly did when I filmed it. Many thanks Darrin.
That would be the vehicle for these nice October days here in East Tennessee.
You can say that again Boss ! What a fall cruiser this would be. Thanks so much for liking this Gary.
Any car guy would love that in his garage.
Thanks 55lincoln for another great vid. ❤
Yes indeedy. I would love to have this in my garage. What a great example of those big yachts of yesteryear. Thank you Tom.
