If it's freshly done yes, but if it's been a while not so much. If you have a lot of new growth, submerging it in water could make it worse and cause sliding.
This is my first using soft dread or Toyokalon hair period. Besides sleeping in a silk bonnet what products do you use on this particular type of hair and what are your tips for maintaining it?
I never put any product in the hair, as it has enough shine and holds up pretty well on its own. I just sleep with the bonnet at night. That's about it!
I watched your tutorial over and over loved it I finally did mine this weekend I had a hard time finding the hair local but got it from Amazon love it . Thank you
Thank you for clearing that up Renee Walker. I couldn't tell if it was a R or a B.
I love your personality!
Awe thank you!!!!!
This is my go to hair, it takes about two weeks to look natural, it lasts me 2 months and I think I could go longer.
Yes girl! The older it gets, the better it looks. I'm happy you love it. Great protective style.
Thank you girl
I like this style and you remind me of Sanaa Lathan.
Oh wow, thank you!
It's called Biba Natural Hair Soft Dread 100% Toyokalon
After having the hair in for awhile,Do you think this hair will hold up on vacation? Say in water?

How many packs of hair did you use?
I believe I used 2-2.5. I typically cut the hair in half for a short doo, so 2-2.5 packs is usually more than enough for my head.
how long did this take to do on your self?
About 4 hours.
What brand is this though?/// does that make a differnce?
I believe it was Biba. It shouldn't matter the kind though.
do you have to put any moisturizer on it if so what
No, optional if you want to oil your scalp.
