I kept it in for almost 2 months. Started out with long faux locs for about a month and then switched it up to short locs and the last 2 weeks I wore the coil out style.
I only scalp cleansed when I wore these, so I'm not 100% sure. However, If you do decide to wash with them in, your best bet is to try not to manipulate the crochet hair too much and use a diffuser on low or no heat to dry.
This hair washes beautifully the curls will not fall out the more you shampoo it the prettier it is and I love that it allows you to swim over and over again and does not ever frizz.

You could do a blunt cut to your desired length and then add layers throughout for a more natural look.
