This comics is before episode 6 so how is possible that luke has a green saber? He built it in Return of the Jedi , am I right?

Anyone notice the glaring fact that Luke has a lightsaber? According to ROTJ, he built it on Tattooine, right before Hans rescue. And all of a sudden Palpatine is communicating with Luke from across the galaxy, but couldn't even sense him on Endor a couple months later. The story was fun, but they aren't even trying to keep continuity anymore.

The lightsaber scene was deleted therefore was never considered Canon, and Palpatine knew Skywalker was on Endor, after all it was part of his plan.

Perhaps when Luke was on his way to or coming back from Dagobah in ROTJ?

Excellent soundtrack design on this.
But WHY is LUKE taking orders from a major when he was a commander at the beginning of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and since we see his green bladed lightsaber and black tunic, this clearly happens after TESB and before RETURN OF THE JEDI. Don't these writers watch the films before getting these jobs?

You know I never understood why Luke didn’t have a higher rank in the rebellion. Luke could lay waste to squadrons upon squadrons of storm troopers, was one of the best pilots in the rebellion, and he blew up the Death Star. I just never understood why he had to take orders from these idiots.

Likely he's too modest to accept any higher position and is content doing what he does for the Rebellion.

Him not having the appropriate command forces him to except orders he knows are wrong. he has the force, he can sense when danger is approaching but if he has to take orders from somebody else he can’t do anything

Doesn't mean he's good at commanding, just skilled in combat. He probably has the temperament for an officer, but the experience is lacking.
