I don't see many of those generation Chevy K5 Blazers & GMC Jimmys on the roads anymore like I use to back in the day, especially the crew cab pickups & Suburbans, but the regular cab pickups on the other hand I still see on the roads sometimes.
My uncle owned two Jimmy's a 73 first year for the burnt orange color and also first square body full convertible took us fishing to the Rio Grande here in El Paso, Tx he had that one for a couple of years sold it and bought an 81 Jimmy that one was onyx black with quicksilver metallic with a red pinstripe the separated both colors if I recall 81 was the first year you could engage the 4x4 on the fly he'd take us camping to Ruidoso, NM, Elephant Butte, NM and four wheeling in Redsands in El Paso, Tx he had that one for like 16 yrs he passed Oct of 2021 and out of those fond memories I bought myself a 90 Jimmy which I have now converted to convertible like my uncles first Jimmy and looking to paint it like his second Jimmy once it's done I'll start creating fond memories of my own
Local farmer who owned a Tire Business bought it new and had it in his heated garage all these years. So kinda like a barn find but the barn was attached to the house and the everyone knew it was there, lol.
The truck is not all original you find me one that actually came off the line with that intake manifold and carb. Because that intake was from the 283 and 327 time frame. so no not all original
That's the original molding. You can see it on the option list in the glove box - "Body Side Spear Molding". I agree the double chrome moldings that were standard on the Cheyenne and optional on Custom Deluxe looks better, but this is original.
Wow!!! OK well have to make some comments about this video. It is not an all original blazer. First it does have ac. You can clearly see the compressor on the engine. It has ac vents in the passenger side trim of the dash and it has the controls where the pocket on a non ac truck would be. It also has a very shallow glove box to fit the aftermarket ac. Second the speedometer is not the correct one for that truck. They did not have kph on until later on. Third the trim on the side of the truck is not a factory option. Maybe it was dealer installed but did not roll out of the factory with that trim.
Way back in 1976 we put all of those accessories on the truck like today's trucks they are LPO's aka Dealer installed accessories but I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It was a fun quick walkthrough of a fantastic old Chevy!
Yes it did roll out of the factory with that trim. You can see it on the option list - Body Side Spear Molding. These were optional on the Custom Deluxe. They also started using this on the pickups. The A/C is definitely aftermarket though. Also, this truck is Crimson Red, not orange.
Yes but for us that weren't alive when this truck was built us younger folk think Custom (Must be EXPENSIVE) Deluxe ( Must be LOADED with all the options)

"you can't tell me this isn't beautiful", I agree very much !
Inside hood release came out as an option in '77 & in '81, it became standard on all models.
I have one out in the garage.
I could sure use that molding strip holding down the rubber mat at the tailgate. 👍😄👍
Love it!

Memories of times long past are great, appreciate the comment, cheers!
My best memory is over the summer me and my dad engine shaped ares with a 1969 comaro
Classic!! Wowzers
Sure is!
Love those short wheel base 4×4 that come with a tough truck package K5 Blazer Bronco Ramcharger.
great looking rig and an awesome find! I hate to be the wet blanket, but it's not "all original." That's an aftermarket air cleaner
Love that Blazer .Damm that sucker is Clean!
Neat. Thanks for sharing
How was that kept so clean. Where did you find it ?
Local farmer who owned a Tire Business bought it new and had it in his heated garage all these years. So kinda like a barn find but the barn was attached to the house and the everyone knew it was there, lol.
Nice I had 2 of those
Sweet!
Yo bro... you didn't show how the rear window can be locked, for security purposes.
Nice! lol

How much are you asking for your Blazer?
This is an old video we sold this rig over a year ago.
T you
Nice K5. All original..
All original x 1000?.... for starters those wheels aren't original
This is how he ordered and then added accessories to it way back in the day, before he drove it off the lot.
That's a beautiful k5. I think it either needs the original chrome trim or just take this other crap off and have a clean body

I've never seen trim like that on any 70s chevy. I'll take your word for it. Original or not, it would look better without it
Is this still available?
No it was sold the day after I posted this video. I didn't expect it to last long that's why I did the video, cheers!

Not original rims. This dude is a scam artist, albeit nice vehicle, this is not all original nor holds the value of all original.
Inspired me to grab one to do up for my TH-cam channel. Just getting started. Be sure to check it out!!
That's AWESOME my man, cheers!
Sir which city or county has the most pick up and SUV car's in the world ?
The USA has always had more pickup trucks than anywhere in the world. As for City with the most pickup or SUV's no idea lol.
@@WesternGMDrumheller thank you so much for your response I really appreciate it
How much is this vehicle selling?
Probably had a 2 barrel and was switched to 4 barrel
Fine ! Unbelievable .
Hermosa excepto por las molduras negras en los costados no son originales y se ven orrible de feas.
Si son originales amigo, pero asi es no son bonitas
Wrong! When I hear custom deluxe I think of a stripped fleet truck brah ☹️
Yes but for us that weren't alive when this truck was built us younger folk think Custom (Must be EXPENSIVE) Deluxe ( Must be LOADED with all the options)
Now ain’t that cute lol
92 to 94 does not count.
Is it still available?
No sorry she's sold and gone.
@@WesternGMDrumheller Bummer! I’m not surprised. She’s basically a unicorn.
