Will be a good build when finished, a lot of effort has gone into this so it'd be nice to see those last bits finished i.e. trim up the naked wood and tidy up the messy cables.

WOW Also very impressed ..glad to see the proper wiring and electrical done correctly .. I also appreciate lows more than SPL .... Only things I would do is clean up the wires and paint where those mid high amps are at
. AND do up a nice paint job inside the box ...maybe fluorescent ....the carpet I could take it or leave it
.... that amp box looks like it could use some ventilation but that obviously lets in the dust and moisture so maybe not ...
Again hope you start carrying a SPL meter with you soon

I want to know if that JS 320 alternator is any good cause I'm building my 08 tundra crewmax and was looking at the js250 or the mechman S series 240alt only running JP23V15, sundown x15, JP8.4, 4x D4S SFX6.5, sundown SA-tweets,

I would have bought mechman but did not have the money. So I went with js. I still want to change the js with something that give me more juice when I am at idle.
I'm running a mechman 240a alt in a cobalt on a jp23 1.5.. only had it at a 2 ohm load but it never dropped below 14v when it hit... when I wire up this psi 18 with a 1 ohm load it might drop more but for having a single battery, xs power, I think mechman is pretty reliable
but I agree with dude above.. get more amperage lol. I didn't wanna wait on a custom built order and they had the 240a in stock
@@zanechristiansen, been there. But from first hand experience, it's better to wait than to spend the money twice. Doing another alternator now. Twice as much as waiting the first time. Money lost.
