These are a mix between marble and granite Quarries. Example 0:28 , 5:25 is Marble, at 2:33 and what they processed in the end is Granite. Also, marble is softer so it usually breaks in half or pieces when it falls in the ground 0:30 while Granite usually doesn't 2:30.Though the process is basically the same you should change the title none the less.

Steel toes are not allowed around such heavy material. They cut your toes off and have a hard time of being removed if they do get crushed. I used to work at a steel fab company, we used a lot of steel tubes and they would deny people's health care if they wore steel toes and got their toes cut off cause of it.

@@davesmith2150 yeah I get these blocks are lighter. I’m talking about other blocks seen around the world at other megalithic sites. They must have had enormous machines. I’m a crawler crane operator and I’m often lifting 30 tons. That is a massive task for the crane. I can’t even imagine 1000 ton blocks. It boggles the mind.

@@geggs1 I've seen a video of 1 guy lifting 100 ton block using only 1x3 lumber and he teeter todder it up. They had 1000s of people and life times to move all the stones so I think its a lost art and they were good at it

I worked on crotch island in maine it's a small island just off stonington
Nice pink granite we used big feathers and wedges and a white saw and a channel torch
I would drill holes with a rig that ran 2 big air drills for two weeks then we would split out 24 20 ton blocks in one day

It will be nice when they can cut the stone at the source for final use. As a finite resource, good stone nor skilled labor should not be wasted. In the high tech global communication era, it shouldn't be too difficult to cut once.

You know you’re watching a quarry mining video from a 3rd world country when the workers are wearing sandals and the crane cables lifting up heavy rock panels have frayed/severed wires sticking out of them! Safety? We don’t need no stinkin’ safety! 😂

Note that granite was used in the construction of the pyramids. Notice (roughly because jump cuts) it takes with massive modern machinery on an industrial scale, it takes for just one slab to be mined.
These slabs are a fraction the size of some of the slabs used in the pyramids yet people will tell you they were able to quarry, transport and lay blocks like this within a 2 min span.
With dudes. Their reasoning? There were a lot of dudes. They were very strong. I think it makes perfect sense. We shouldn't question it any further.

People today are just lazy. If they worked harder. If we cared more and were just better, stronger, tougher people, we could build massive pyramids with millions of multi-ton stone blocks too. We just need to work harder.

If they were constructed during the last ice age, before the comet impacts 12,000 to 13,000 years ago, any and all evidence of the technology they used would have been completely and thoroughly destroyed by the cataclysm and by time. For example, the equipment used in this video will all become conglomerated rock in 13,000 years from today.
