Played commandos in 99. I failed my finals because i kept playing this game all the time. Amazing game holds special space in my memory. I hope this new game has good music themes as well, as music played an important role in creating a mesmerizing feel to the game.

I'm missing the GEAR! Looting and sorting your stuff was half the game, I loved it so much! Besides, realCommandos relied a lot on captured gear, I was confused where is the W key?!?!
I'm not sure about the looting and sorting. Let's wait for the final release. As far i understand, looting like an old version would not be available. It will like grab a gun from the floor, and there will be an indicator for it.
I really appreciate and enjoyed this demo and the developers did a fantastic job. It was fun and needs some improvements before the final release. I'm a big fan of the commandos series, I've played all the games in the franchise. The commandos nostalgia vibes are coming back. These is one main issue, they have remade the commandos origins from commandos behind enemy lines and didn’t follow the inventory system like commandos 2 and 3, even after so many years of advancement in gaming technologies. Secondly, no pick of enemy guns, that’s a shame. Commandos 2: Men of Courage and Commandos 3: Destination Berlin capture the authentic atmosphere of a real war game, delivering immersive details and intensity. However, Commandos: Origins lacks that same level of realism. Commandos 3: Destination Berlin stands out as the most serious entry in the series, featuring highly complex missions, the toughest enemies, and a fast-paced gameplay style that builds immense pressure on the player. The only drawback in Commandos 3 is that the missions are short and often limited to specific areas, making them feel more constrained compared to previous games. Still our hopes are high for this game. And one more thing, if the soundtracks in missions are good like Comm2, Comm3 and high octane, the game will generate high sales and profit. On the positive note, great job, Devs!

As for the inventory system, since it wasn’t shown in the demo, I’m hoping it’s included in the final release too. I don’t quite understand the hooks this game provides…..let’s count: after old Commando games we have Shadow tactics Shogun which is a master piece , then Mimimi studio non-stop making more same games like Desperado 3 and Shadow gambit(the pirate one), which all are great games if standalone. But as someone having played all of them I’m already tired. So Imagine when I bought Sumerian Six( this one has far crazier super powers than others) I couldn’t finish it because they are same in the cores. I guess it’s hard to innovate new ideas for this type of games. And we get another Commando game in 2024? It seems like suddenly studios are making these games every year and players don’t get bored.
Commandos has such a special place for so many of us! It’s one of those games that just hit different, especially if you grew up playing it. Yeah, mini-games and other genres took off, but Commandos fans are built different-we’ve been waiting for this. The remasters were a great reminder of how awesome it is, and the hype for a new game is real! Can’t believe it’s finally happening this year. Here’s to a whole new generation getting to experience that classic Commandos vibe!

Both commandos have more soldiers, and they are high alert in hard mode. There is nothing like that. It's a demo. The real game would be different. Once the full game is out, then we can judge better.
@@salmanlp idk, for me partisans 1941 primary feature is the "men of war" fire fight mechanic with use of cover and random shoots and in the case of war mongrels is the direct control of the character during the fire fights (talking about distinctive features) grafically commandos origins looks similar to partisans and WM, but the enemies mechanics are like desperados 3 (or shadow tactics or shadow gambit, etc) ones with the vision cone, the "ponchos" (guards that didn't abandon their posts), etc and the skill sistem are always be the same since commandos 1 and this was used on every tactic game
I played it and I am very happy. Can't wait. The camera is much better the graphics are very good because it gives the feeling of commandos. But that is my opinion. I love it and it is a very long time ago that I am this exited about a game release.

Enemy's are so static, that barrels explosion on previous games are easily set alarm all around the map.. i don't like even sounds of walking, running... Hmmmm...
At the very end, you can simply throw a grenade into the barrel, which will take out all of the last three people simultaneously. I really hope the final game includes an ultra-hard mode or something, as this display feels disappointing for the franchise.
Gameplay Hard ?? You can just explode 3 man with a barrel explosion and nobody moves... It looks so easy, pretty sure all the lovers of the original games will be disapointed

This is the demo version. It wouldn't be as easy. Yes, you can hit barrels, and you can also hit walking army's that i didn't bother. There are lots of ways to play.
