Yes a clear sunny day is the best for driving to Whistler. You can see all the glaciers. Waterfalls coming down the mountains. ANOTHER place if you come is Vancouver island. The largest island on the west coast of North and South America.
Hi Robert, we were there in 2015 for 2 days for a cruise to Alaska . A very beautiful city. Very clean and friendly people. The only thing is that Canada was expensive compared to US. Stanley park was very pretty and they have a beautiful Aquarium. Very enjoyable trip.
That was the coolest clock I have ever seen!!!!!!! I went to Vancouver in 1986 for the Worlds Fair and I thought it was a beautiful city. I would love to go back. Fantastic vlog as always
Sailed into Vancouver in 2014 on cruise from Alaska. Beautiful city but only saw it from the ship and then from a bus. We must return! Looking forward to your next videos out West!
Hey Robert, I would like to thank you for providing us with these amazing episodes during these troubling times. Please continue doing what you do and please stay safe out there!
Great video, it was nice to see Vancouver again and the beautiful country side of Canada. My favorite area is Stanley Park. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next one.
The trip may have been short to Vancouver, but what an epic video. After all the adventures and miles , I imagine it was so nice to finally get back home in Miami. Love your channel! 🤗
We stayed at that same RV park under the bridge. Was a pretty cool park. Funny seeing the Canadian's washing their marijuana bongs at the community sink. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park was really cool.
I live in Vancouver and here is a little tip. Avoid the Capilano Suspension Bridge-a tourist trap and head just a little ways from there to Lynn Canyon. There is a suspension bridge there very similar to Capilano but for free!
Thomas Allison As a BC resident if I pay to go to the Capilano Suspension Bridge once that gives me a season’s pass. May have to do this one time here soon. They have a really spectacular Christmas light display there!
NOT ONE OF YOUR SPECTACLER TRAVEL'S...BUT...THE VIEWS OF GETTING TO SEE VANCOUVER AND WHISTLER ALONE WAS SPECTACULAR...THANK YOU ROBERT FOR BRINGING US ALONG.
I recently discovered Traveling Robert and his fabulous videos and music. Like him putting a sticker on each state he visits, I am going to post this comment on all the videos I watch! You da man, Robert!!
Beautiful video. I remarked at the street vendors and all of the people- from this summer. The drive to Whistler, the visit to the lighthouse, I have to admit, made me tear up something fierce. Such freedom to see our beautiful Mother Earth. The Hubster and I really needed to see this (and all of your) video. We had been planning a much needed road trip, but, well, life. Glad you're an official Ambassador now. You have been inspiring us for some time now.
So nice to be able to watch your current videos, due to my state of California on lock down my family and I our just staying in and watching many of your past videos and enjoying every one of them 😊Robert you don’t know how much joy you bring us! Bless you for All you do!! Stay safe out there. 👋🏼
Thank you for a trip down memory lane. I am originally from Vancouver but have not been back for quite some time. excellent cinematography, felt like I was there.
Hello Traveling Robert! I enjoyed Vancouver and Whistler with you. I agree that you should return to Vancouver and spend more time exploring on your next trip. I'm really looking forward to traveling with you to Portland and the Columbia River Gorge. I remember my trip to Seattle and exploring the gorge and really enjoyed spending time at Multnomah Falls. I have also explored Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. I am so excited for the next video. Great video Robert!
Goooood morning Robert! Thank you for the new video. Congratulations on being a brand ambassador and getting to use a new Winnebago for a year. Have a great day. Remember, we always keep you and your family in our prayers. Fly pelican, fly! 🌴😎👍
Greetings from Port Alberni on Vancouver Island, BC! I've spent the last two evenings watching your Oregon, Washington and Vancouver videos. I've done a number of motorcycle trips in WA and OR and lived in Vancouver for 22 years. Brilliant stuff!
I had to watch this video twice. My son wants me to move there. Its aboslutely beautiful...I can see why he would want me too. to give him a reason to visit...perhaps! I must visit. Happy and Safe Travels!
When I was young I was an skiinstructor and Whistler was allways one of thoose places I wanted to ski. One dream that will never come thrue. But atleast I got to see how it looks in summer.
I know you plan to do more on your trip to Canada but during these stressful time it was still nice to visit Canda with you. I enjoyed the visit. Thank you and see you on the road.
Happy you made it up to Vancouver. Those was so much more to see in Vancouver that you can see next time. You should try to come through Canada. I live in Calgary and the trip through the Rockies from Vancouver is beautiful, especially Banff National Park.
Thank you for sharing your 2019 memories with us, although YOU do not seem to be too happy with your bad-weather-trip then. Hey, that is real life. Everybody can go camping when the sun shines!!! RIGHT NOW, we are all (almost all) staying home. Keep up a positive life style. Greetings from Bavaria, Germany.
I been waiting all week for this video as im from vancouver and wanted to see what u seen. Good video wish u spent more.time here sooooo much more.to see.
Robert! Hello from Cumming GA (just outside of ATL)! The hubs & I watch NOTHING the same! Except YOU! We love your video travels but that personality of yours just shines through! We are true fans! Keep traveling! Keep safe! Keep making videos! PS. i had to download your song, traveling in my RV! Im trying to figure out how to put it as my ringtone! Kathleen
Hey Robert, always good to spend a little time with you on Sunday morning. I was in Vancouver for Expo 86--cool to see the Canada Pavilion in the distance as you drove by. You know, there are always days on roadtrips that seem kind of wasted,...but It's all part of the journey. (I wonder if you would have enjoyed your trip to Whistler more if it was a sunny day?)
You could of also just go up to cypress mountain instead of Whistler. A short drive from your camp site. It is a local ski hill with out the long drive to Whistler. From your camp site around 30 minutes
Love to watch your videos. It is nice in this times of quarantine, having something to look forwards and dream of better and heather days. Anxious to see and hear about your new RV. Take care, big hug, from São Paulo Brazil 🇧🇷
Even if it was a cloudy day, the whole place was serene. Canadians know how to lay back and taking it easy when in nature. Maybe it is because it is so sparsely populated. Stay safe friend.
I look forward to Sunday’s new episodes. We wait all week for this. Too bad you didn’t go up to grouse mountain instead of all the way to whistler. Maybe next time.
Great video and a really good outsider's take on my hometown. You took in a lot of the touristy things to do in Vancouver and it was interesting to see you take on these places. I'm inclined to agree with about you about Whistler, it's beautiful there but definitely overrated in my opinion. That looked like a pretty nasty accident that you passed on your way back from Whistler, a very common occurrence on this route. The next time you are back in this area you should head east out of Vancouver. I know how much you like mountain scenery and this is definitely the way to go! If you head about 1 1/2 hours east on Highway 1 you will come to the town of Hope, BC. Hope is a major highway junction point and also the very first Rambo movie was filmed there back in the early 80's! There are three major highways that join there and all lead you into some spectacular mountain scenery. All three of these routes have great scenery and there is a lot to see along the way! Hope you will be back soon!
Traveling Robert I also saw that you had mentioned that you were disappointed that you weren’t able to ride the Sea to Sky Gondola because it was closed. The real reason it was closed is that someone came out in the middle of the night and cut the main cable which sent all the cars to the ground!😢. It has only be re-opened since the middle of February.
You are doing a wonderful job. So don't complain and second guessing yourself. I enjoyed Canada and Vancouver. Thank for doing these episodes. I use to hate Mountains. Now I beginning to like them. Safe travels Robert. Thank you my traveling friend. What a treat. 👍🤲👍👍
Sorry you weren't able to ride the Sea to Sky Gondola on your trip here. That "mechanical problem" was because somebody vandalised it by cutting the cable. Hope you have an opportunity to ride it next time you're here. Wonderful video. Thanks for the memories.
Hey Robert that steam clock in Canada was awesome I ain't never seen nothing like it pretty cool man keep up the good work lots of love from Pocatello Idaho
Awww sorry to have missed you as you walked right by my stores on Granville Island Robert! We are buying a Micro Minnie 2108ds partially on your experience with the product. Love your videos..... very inspiring they are!
Thanks for another enjoyable if short video, On your trip to Alaska I hope you consider going through Alberta and Banff, It definitely is worth it, one of the most gorgeous trips we have every taken. Knowing you love mountains you would not be disappointed. Lots of amazing wildlife too. We saw elk, mountain sheep and wild wolves. Just food for thought , I know that planning a trip from Florida to Alaska would be a very big task, wanting to see everything and only being able to do what time allows. Take care and god bless. Can't wait for the next video as we have also made this trip to Yellowstone back in 2006.
That part of Canada is gorgeous. Nice to see. I’ve been to the other side Through New York many times. Funny what you said about the Canadian border agents. They’re so serious. Don’t smile. On the way back into the US the agents always greeted people with a smile. And much more loose. ❤
I was up there for the day in 2008 with my Family. We just drove around the city. We visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Stopped for lunch in Richmond near Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site lunch at Pajo's Fish and Chips
Hi, Robert. Believe it or not, the reason the mailboxes are colorful and have writing on them is to discourage graffiti. Apparently the graffiti doesn't show up very well against the background.
Re your comment going through border control, being a Brit working for a Canadian Bank we used to refer to the Canadians as “Americans without a sense of humour”. Both lovely countries and people.
Short vid, you may have been a little disappointed but I liked it. Great footage and commentary as usual. Maybe it just wasn't you and Eli's day up there. We definitely have it on our places to visit when this pandemic passes and borders re-open. Hope you are having continued safe travels back to Miami with Mini 2.0.

#142 I'm pinned down at home due to Coronavirus, but your travel videos and a cup of coffee can really cheer me up. Thanks Robert.
Great video, it was nice to see Vancouver again and the beautiful country side of Canada. My favorite area is Stanley Park. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next one.
Your videos bring much needed distraction and tranquility in a time of distress

Thanks for solidifying the dream to visit Vancouver! Adding it to my Pacific Northwest bucket list trip. Stay safe, Robert & Illi. Love your new rig.
Another great video, I’ve been binge watching ur videos during our Quarantine here in Niagara Falls Ontario.

Love the Keg.

So nice to watch a video from back in the good old days :)
Very nice trip! We would like to go there too. Can't wait for you to review Vancouver when you go back. Thanks again Robert!

Wow Robert! I repair antique clocks and I thought I had seen everything. That steam powered clock is new to me though. Fascinating.
According to local JJ McCullough the steam clock is not actually powered by steam they just make it look like it is.
You guys have to go to Vancouver Island and go to the Butchart Gardens there‼️OMG‼️ Amazing😍
💜💙💚💛🧡❤
