Victoria is a beautiful city to visit and has many tourist traps. There are a couple must see places that are worth the money and time. Buchart's Gardens entrance fee is expensive but the gardens are spectacular. Another often overlooked offering in Victoria is the Royal British Columbia Museum across the street from the Legislature. It is reasonably priced and well worth the time to explore, especially if it happens to be raining when you visit.

Best video of Victoria ever. I live in Vancouver BC and always go to Victoria on the huge ferries to play tourist at least once in the Summer. It's an amazing city. I'm so envious that you got to visit my favourite city in Canada. I'm from a different part of Canada (Calgary, out in the foothills of the Rockies... You should drive up here some time!), but I'm slowly working on my wife to move to Victoria some day. The last time we were there, we even stayed at the James Bay Inn! The next time you go, I highly recommend Beacon Hill Park. It's a beautiful English-style public park with gardens, lawns, fountains, weeping willows, and cricket pitches. Then it climbs a hill to the beacon, which looks back across the Salish Sea to the Olympic Peninsula. If you go down towards the water, you can walk along the pebbly beach and glacially-scoured bedrock of the Dallas Road Sea Cliffs... Oh man, now I want to go back!

Robert :Thanks for visiting Victoria. We live about 20 minutes outside of the city, on the way to two other ferries that connect us to the Mainland. When/if you get a chance to return, you may want to use one of the other ferries, as they both navigate through some interesting little islands. One note for the other fans here - the fare for Robert on the Coho was a return fare for just a passenger, no RV. Those contemplating taking their RV on the ferry should consult the respective web sites for fares, specials, etc. The ferry routes are operated by Black Ball Transport, Washington State Department of Transportation, and BC Ferries.

We are hoping to get up to Canada 🇨🇦 this summer. Larry is from Oakville. Good to know it doesn’t have to be costly to take the RV on a ferry. Canada in the summer is gorgeous. Very cool water ballet. I’ve never seen that. Wow. That’s a fancy hotel. Got to have the IG spot 🤣. So cool that you hooked up with free tickets. I love visiting historic houses. Love those stained glass windows. Good way of explaining it. Time travel. You did all of this in one day ? We went to the China Town in San Fran. What camera did you use? You really zoomed in on that sea plane. Funny how it got all foggy going back to the states. Very cool video. Thank you. Alice.

Fan Tan Alley as you mentioned looks like a movie set because it was used during filming Bird on a Wire.
